A Family of Four

For someone who is incredibly bad at keeping secrets, my little family has managed to keep this secret for 16 weeks. As you may have already guessed from the title of this post, and the photos, our family is growing, with our little trio growing into a family of four!

Willow Loves Splash Babies

Learning to swim is an essential life skill and something we knew we wanted our daughter to learn early on. Although my partner and I both learnt how to swim in school, it seems not all schools do this anymore and so a swimming class was the route we wanted to take.

Hylamide Hydra-Density Mist Review

I recently shared my thoughts on the Hylamide Low-Molecular HA Booster, a hydration boosting serum which has been sorting out pesky areas of dehydration for me, so today I wanted to share another product from Hylamide I've really been enjoying.

Where next, Teddy? Personalised Book review

We're big fans of personalised books in the Tattooed Tealady house, a great way to get little ones engaged with reading and also a lovely keepsake too. We've encouraged Willow to read all the way from birth and she just looks settling down with a big pile of books for us to work through together. Stories about pirates, fairies, animals and Princesses, dinosaurs and old-time classics, no matter what the story, she'll sit there avidly listening and soaking up all the pictures as you read to it, it makes my heart swell. If you're looking for books to add to your little one's library, you can check out my feature on Willow's Growing Library.

Bedside Beauty Essentials

Ever since my teens, I have always had a little stash of beauty products by my bed. It started when my mum used to give me Avon hand creams and Olay moisturisers and all those funky lip balms you buy when you're in your early teens. I'd pop them on before I went to sleep and feel all grown up with my little stash of beauty products.

Lumie Bodyclock Active 250 Review

Lumie is a brand that is well loved by my family and a brand which has featured on my bedside table for many years now, with the SAD light being an absolute essential for me in the darker months, a tremendous aid in battling my SAD; seasonal affective disorder.

It's not just autumn and winter where Lumie helps me though, it's all year round with numerous features that help me wake feeling energised and more alert, as well as night time features which help me drift off to sleep peacefully and easily.

It is not my responsibility

A change in perspective can come from the smallest of moments or a truly life-altering catalyst that shifts your priorities and makes you see every little detail of life in a drastically different way. For me, it was the latter, a realisation that the way I was living my life at that time was, quite frankly, not good enough, things had to change and there was simply no way to continue the way I was.
