Sleeping Peacefully with Feather & Down

A good sleep is essential for me, otherwise, I start to slow down throughout the day, I only get half of the things I need to do done and by the time Willow is asleep, I'm ready for bed too. I have a few things I do as part of my 'bedtime routine' that all go towards helping me get a peaceful night's sleep and recently, I've added a few products into that routine from Feather & Down, a brand that promotes sleeping peacefully with their gorgeous range of Sweet Dreams products, but do they really help me sleep better?

Feather & Down Sweet Dreams Melting Shower Cream, £6
Free from Parabens, Sulphates and Mineral Oils, the Melting Shower Cream melts into a calming oil as you massage it into your skin, leaving skin feeling softer with its deeply nourishing formula. Something that I learnt during my Psychology degree is that taking a bath or shower before bed is a great way to get your body and brain ready for sleep - so this is a great option for pre-bedtime showers or baths. It lathers up well, it smells lovely and certainly helps me ease tension and relax, particularly under a hot shower after a very long day.

Feather & Down Sweet Dreams Pillow Spray, £7
Sleep sprays are something I have used for a few years now and I love spritzing them over our bed and around our bedroom before settling down for the night. With a calming infusion of Lavender and Chamomile Essential Oils, the Feather & Down Pillow Spray works to soothe, relax and calm.

Feather & Down Sweet Dreams All Purpose Sleep Balm,
I've covered sleep balms before in my feature The Sleep Balms and personally, I love them. Although they may not work for everyone, for me they have a really strong effect and when applied to my pulse-points, they are a sure-fire way to get me off to a sound sleep easily. With a formula of Lavender, Chamomile and Vitamin E, the scent is soft and subtle but just enough to help me relax and drift off.

  1. These sound lovely & a great, affordable alternative to some of the high-end brands' offerings.
