Christmas Gift Ideas for Toddlers

Christmas is all about children for me, seeing their faces light up with wonder and seeing their excitement for Santa and all things Christmas; it makes it all the more magical. As a mama to an almost 2-year-old, a lot of my Christmas shopping has centred around the perfect gifts for toddlers, with everything from games and books to baby skincare, dolls and trains. With all gifts under £40, you're sure to find the perfect gift for your little one this Christmas.

My First Baby Annabell, £17.99
Over the past couple of months, Willow has really gotten into more imaginative play and she loves playing mama to her little baby doll, so we decided to invest in a 'proper' doll with the My First Baby Annabell. It's available in pink and blue (we tossed a coin and ended up with pink!) and comes with its very own new design romper and a pink baby bottle.

We are big fans of Petit Pai (check out my Protecting Baby Skin with Petit Pai review) and I think this set would be lovely for any newborns, or mamas who are expecting a little one soon. The Baby Bathtime set comes with a full-size Konjac Sponge, a 75ml Petit Pai Apple & Mallow Blossom Hair & Body Wash and a Petit Pai Apple & Mallow Blossom Face & Body Cream. We love the way these products make Willow's skin feel and I cannot recommend this range enough!

Ravensburger Disney Mini Memory Games, £3.99
A super budget-friendly option and one that would be fun for siblings is the Ravensburger Disney Mini Memory Games. There are a huge variety of themes available, including some of the most popular Disney films, so it's easy to find the one that your little one will love. Also, a fab gift that's fun but also good for aiding development too!

The Gruffalo Toddler Day Sack with Reins*, £26.99
Any Gruffalo fans? We adore The Gruffalo and this soft almost-teddy-bear-like day sack is a fab gift for toddlers who love to walk, whilst having the addition of reins to keep little ones nearby and safe as they learn about road safety.

The Gruffalo's Child Plush Skittles Set*, £39.99
Keeping with The Gruffalo theme, this plush skittles set would be perfect for toddlers who love to play games and a good one to help with coordination, too. The set includes plush Gruffalo characters including the Fox, Owl, Squirrel, Snake, Mouse and The Gruffalo himself, with a plush ball to knock down your skittles with!

The Disney Store Animators Collection Small Soft Toy, £14.99
I absolutely adore the Disney soft toy range and Willow has a few of these for Christmas this year (we also picked her up the Ariel and Snow White ones!) and for £14.99, I don't think they're too badly priced. They're the perfect size for toddlers and you can get them in a huge array of characters from Disney's most well-loved movies. The Disney Store also has incredible offers online, so worth checking out to see if there's anything your toddler (or you!) might love this Christmas.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar 4-in-1 Games Box*, £11
A super fun box of games for little ones into The Very Hungry Caterpillar, the 4-in-1 Games Box includes Matching Bingo, Snap, Twisted Pairs and Four Shapes in a Row. A great gift to keep little ones entertained and great for aiding development too.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Board Book*, £7
I'm sure this was everyone's favourite story growing up and a lovely one to get our own children into now. Board books are fab for toddlers and hard-wearing too, so great for over-enthusiastic little ones. Telling the classic story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, it's also a lovely story to start your toddler on an exploration of nature and how caterpillars turn into butterflies.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Floor Puzzle*, £9.95
If your little one is into puzzles then they will love this giant and super colourful 24-piece floor puzzle. Another fab one for aiding development, puzzles can be a great way to improve hand-eye coordination, concentration and problem solving and a fun way for little ones to do more independent play.

Thomas & Friends Take-n-Play Train Carry Case, £14.99
Do you have any Thomas the Tank Engine fans? This would be a great gift for keeping all their Thomas & Friends trains safe and amazing for taking out and about to keep them occupied. It can house up to 11 engines and includes a railway track, in a light-weight carry case.

Doctors Playset Medical Case, £9.99
I loved things like this when I was little and I just know Willow will adore playing Doctor with her medical set. It includes all the Doctors medical equipment a little one could need, including a patient medical record card to make them feel like a proper Doctor!

Usborne Books Peep Inside a Fairy Tale Beauty and the Beast Board Book, £9.99
I am pretty besotted with the Usborne Books Inside a Fairy Tale range and I picked up a few different ones for Willow this Christmas. The most beautifully presented little storybook, I don't think I've ever seen such a stunning children's book! The whole range, which covers a huge array of fairy tales, is absolutely lovely and would make a perfect gift for little bookworms.

Wonderbly Personalised The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home Book*, £16.99
Another lovely one to add to your little one's library is the personalised story from Wonderbly, The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home. You can add your address and your little one's name when ordering and the fab Wonderbly team create a story personalised tailored to your little one. It includes their name written in stars, maps of their home and you can even add a personalised message, too.
