Despite a few flashes of rain, June has been a gorgeous month. Sunshine, lots of days out and gorgeous weather, soaking up some Vitamin D and feeling better for it too. This month I've found myself changing the shades I go for when doing my makeup, reaching for lighter summer scents and spending more time concentrating on eyes when getting ready for a day out.

Weleda Evening Primrose Age Revitalising Body Oil Review

I've raved about Weleda body oils before, adoring the Weleda Stretch Mark Massage Oil (£16.49) throughout my pregnancy, which I raved about in my 'Pregnancy Essentials & Must-Have Products' feature. This month I've been making my way through the Weleda Evening Primrose Oil (£21.95), using it mostly on my torso, leaving my arms and legs for my lotions and creams. It's actually tailored towards women a little bit older than me, but I love it because it has the most beautiful scent and leaves my skin feeling wonderful. Evening Primrose is a great ingredient if you're looking for something firming as well as moisturising and I find those slightly-more-wobbly areas post-baby feel nicer when I use this oil daily.

A few years back, everyone was raving about the Macadamia Deep Repair Masque (£23.15). It was the hair mask to try and pretty much the most coveted hair care product on the beauty seen. All the bloggers were raving about it, myself included - since my Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque feature, I've repurchased this masque more times than I can remember and it's become a product I always have to have in my bathroom. I've been having to use a medicated shampoo over the past couple of months, which doesn't smell nice at all and leaves my hair feeling a little lack-lustre. I use my Macadamia masque every other wash, and find it just makes my hair feel so much softer, healthier and all whilst smelling absolutely delicious. I think I'll always love this masque!

When I want to add a touch of highlighter to my look but I want something with a softer finish, I can't help but reach for my theBalm Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter (£20). It's just that perfect amount of glow, working well with any look or occasion, and incredibly easy to apply and blend. Make sure to check out my 'theBalm Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter' feature for my review and swatches.

When it comes to lips I can't help teaming the NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick (£7), with any look I go for, weather I'm going for day-time nudes or sultry warm toned coppers and oranges (my current favourite eye combination!), I just love how bold it is. It's the only Lip Lingerie I've tried from NYX, although I definitely plan on trying out a few more shades, it's easy to see why it's such a popular budget-friendly liquid lacquer. The shade I have is Embellishment, a gorgeous muted purple that packs a punch pigmentation wise. It lasts well throughout the day, but does need touching up after eating and drinking.

I've used setting sprays for years but Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray* (£23.50) is always the one I know I can rely on, whatever time of day, whatever type of weather, to keep my makeup in place from morning to night. If you're a real makeup addict you might have heard of Skindinavia; their makeup setting spray was held up high as the cult setting spray to have, and they actually make the Urban Decay setting sprays! It's free from oil, parabens, suitable for all skin types and features a patented Temperature Control Technology, which theoretically, lowers the temperature of your makeup to keep it in place. Pretty cool, huh?

I've been working pretty hard on ensuring I stick to a good skincare routine that caters to my skins needs and the season; because the seasons massively affect my skin and how my skin behaves. I've recently completely revamped my skincare routine, for both morning and night, which I'll be sharing a more in-depth post on soon, but I really wanted to rave about a couple of products I've noticed making big changes to my skin, in a really positive way.

The first is the weekly use of the a pretty coveted treatment, the GLAMGLOW Supermud Mask* (£39). GLAMGLOW is certainly more on the high-end scale of things when it comes to price, but I've managed to use this mask once a week for two months now and have just about 2 uses left in it; so it works out at roughly £3.90 per usage for me. It's tailored to work with both male and female skin, targeting blemishes, breakouts and ingrown hairs, whilst working to tightening skin's texture and pores. It uses a skin-loving formula, which includes Glycolic, Salicylic and Lactic Acids, helping to heal and soothe damaged skin. It currently has top-spot as my favourite deeply cleansing face mask.

Another new one product in my skincare routine that I am adoring right now, using only in the morning, is the Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Silky Cream* (£36). Part of the new Hydra-Quench range, it's best suited to normal or dry skin as it works to hydrate skin, whilst refreshing and boosting radiance. I suffer from dehydrated skin most of the year and I find this makes my skin feel absolutely beautiful; almost instantaneously my skin feels softer, plumper and prolonged has definitely felt more hydrated and looks healthier for it, too.
