Urban Decay is well loved for their eyeshadows, famous for their incredible Naked eyeshadow palettes (did you read my feature, are Urban Decay Naked palettes really worth the hype?) with buttery soft formulas, intense pigmentation and fab longevity. I'm a huge fan of their palettes, but most recently? I simply cannot get enough of the new Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow range.

Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow Review

If you've ever tried the powder Moondust Eyeshadow range from Urban Decay, then you'll know they provide the most beautiful pop of colour with a sparkly finish that is just gorgeous! I first tried them back in 2015 with the Spring Collection and have loved them ever since, using them for a pop of sparkle in the centre of my lid. Although they have a sparkly finish, I find the formula wonderful to work with and I have never experienced fallout, either on the application or throughout the day whilst wearing a Moondust, which I can get with other brands.

When the liquid version was released towards Christmas 2016, I was over the moon - I find liquid and cream shadows, can often be much quicker and easier to apply. There are currently 8 shades in the range, although I'm hoping to see this grow and stand more in line with the powder shadow range, which features 24 shades.

The formula is creamy, packed full of incredible colour pay off and the perfect amount of shimmering sparkle to create an eye-catching look. Depending on which shade you go for, they're fab for all year round and work so well to finish off a look and give it that extra something-something. I actually find the intensity to be better than the powder range, as well as easier to apply with the slim brush applicator.

At £15.50 each they're not the cheapest, but for the type of product it is they're set to last you a while (I've used mine a lot over the past 4 months and haven't made a dent in them yet!) and they can be teamed with other shadows and formulas, if you want to go more on the subtle side of application than a full lid of sparkly shadow. The formula can feel quite wet on the application, but within 30 seconds at most, it is dry and set for the day; no budging, no smudging, perfect shadow from morning to night.

You can check out the full range of Moondust Liquid Eyeshadows at Urban Decay counters nationwide and online at www.urbandecay.co.uk.
