It's no secret that Urban Decay are one of my ultimate favourite brands when it comes to makeup and I often rave about their products, particularly the lipstick ranges which include the Revolution range (check out my feature A Lipstick Revolution to find out why I think this range is so beautiful) and the more recent Vice Lipstick collection (my Find Your Vice with Urban Decay feature introduces this incredible collection of 100 Urban Decay lipsticks). A go-to brand for lip colour, their lipsticks rival the most popular high-end and premium brands and the limited edition Urban Decay Junkie Vice Lipstick Palette is one that lipstick adorers will find hard to resist.

Urban Decay Junkie Vice Lipstick Palette Review

A limited edition 12-pan lipstick palette, it features shades from the permanent Vice Lipstick range and covers a variety of finishes and shades that make it truly stand out from any other lipstick palette I have come across. The shade selection is certainly more daring than other palettes of it's kind, including the usual everyday nudes and pale pinks, with some brighter pinks, reds and purples, some deeper reds and bronzes and a couple of really daring shades such as a super pale cool toned lavender, a deep metallic gray-brown and a metallic green shimmer with gold micro-sparkle.

The finishes in the palette include metallized, shimmer, cream, mega matte and comfort matte, all fo which feature in the original Vice-line. It's a palette that offers a really wide variety of shades and a lovely selection of finishes, that makes it incredibly versatile and one which would carry you through looks for every day, evenings, nights out and special events. There's a shade for any look and having the combination of more wearable shades with a few more daring and bold shades works really well, as it's a palette that could help improve confidence in wearing more stand-out shades as well as your more subtle go-to.

The palette includes a huge mirror in the lid, which is super handy for application on the go and doubles up nicely as a great alternative to your dressing table mirror if you're wanting to pack light for that special weekend away. It also comes with a foldaway lip brush, which is an essential for some bolder shades in the palette to achieve a precise application.

The palette is available exclusively at Selfridges, currently sold out but it may come back in-stock and in the meantime, you can check out your local Selfridges Urban Decay counter. I really hope lipstick palettes become a more permanent addition to the Urban Decay range and would love to see palettes based around specific colour themes, which I think would go down incredibly well with those who prefer to stick to specific shade groups such as an all nude selection or a variety of pinks to see you through all seasons.
