Soap & Glory Makeup Testing

Soap & Glory Makeup Review
There's a few products in my beauty stash from Soap & Glory which are staples in my beauty routine, such as the Kick Ass Concealer and Kick Ass Instant Retouch Pressed Powder, so I was super excited when a some new Soap & Glory products popped their way through my letterbox for me to give a try.

Soap & Glory Archery Brow Putty Dip and Brush (£10)
I was really unsure about this one, mainly because although I adore applying brow products with a brush just like this one has, I'm really struggling to get to grips with the putty. For me it's just not dense enough in consistency and it's so far back in the little pot it comes in (attached to the base of the brush), it's difficult to get the product out. Nice concept, great idea for keeping everything compact for 'on-the-go' and taking up as little space as possible in your makeup bag, but for me I'd much prefer the putty to be in it's own separate little pot that I can get properly stuck into.

Soap & Glory Glow All Out Highlighter and Sculpt Cheek Stick (£8)
I'm not personally a fan of highlighters in this format as I find I work much better with powder, pressed or loose, when it comes to highlighters. For me this is a no-go but if you're good with stick products and can make it work for you, then there's 3 lovely shades to choose from and a nice range for a variety of complexions.

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lip 3D Lip Colour and Sculpt (£3.50)
This is an exceptionally cheap range and is also available in a gloss finish in its sister range, Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Lip. The matte range features 6 shades, ranging well to cover all seasons, with everything from deep sultry plums to bold and bright pinks and vibrant orange-reds for summer. Consistency wise it has a lovely formula which is easy to apply and packs a punch pigmentation wise, providing a soft matte finish that's comfortable to wear. However I do find this range lacking in longevity and even with a lip pencil underneath, it's not that great with the staying power.

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Plucker Lip Gloss (£9)
The Sexy Mother Plucker Lip Gloss range was my first dabble into Soap & Glory makeup back in the day when they first launched in Boots, and I still remember now the intense tingle I felt the very first time I wore this gloss. If you're not a fan of tingly glosses then you won't be a fan, but personally I love it! The range has massively expanded since it's launch and now covers a huge array of shades, for any occasion and any tastes.
