March is just a couple of days away and it's time to delve inside the February offerings from some of the UK's best monthly subscription boxes. Covering beauty, lifestyle and vegan friendly treats, there's some incredible products and brands featured inside the February boxes and some very exciting themes to get stuck into.

Birchbox UK | A monthly beauty subscription service that often includes lifestyle extras, featuring 5 luxury beauty treats from high-end brands covering makeup, body care, hair care and skincare. Subscribers can review products found inside their boxes on the Birchbox website in return for 'Birchbox credits', which can be used in the Birchbox e-shop. You can also purchase the products and brands featured in each month's box in the Birchbox e-shop. Birchbox costs £10 a month plus £2.95 post and packaging. Available at

The box itself is absolutely beautiful this month and one I will definitely be keeping so I can use it to store some of my favourite beauty bits in, isn't it just gorgeous? The products inside are just as fab, featuring some incredible brands I already know and love, some brands I have never seen featured in Birchbox before and one very exciting product indeed - a product from new brand LOC, Birchbox's very own brand new beauty brand!

There's a full size Spectrum Collections Tapered Powder Brush (£7.99), which is a brand I have never heard of before but a brush which has a fun and funky design and is exactly the right shape for a multitude of products. I could easily use this brush for contouring, highlighting and even under eye concealer, so I can't wait to give it a try! The Ayres Body Butter in Patagonia (full size £19.50) is another new brand to me, but as a big fan of body butters I'm excited to put this one to the test. Described as a plant-based body butter with Shea Butter and Vitamin E alongside Jasmine Lavender and Ylang Ylang, it sounds right up my street! Another brand I haven't heard of before comes in the form of the L. Erickson Grab & Go Ponytail Holder (set of 15, £15.50) which is the February 'Beauty Bonus'. A metal-free hair tie for keeping your hair up and out of the way when on the go.

A product I am really, really excited by is the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster (full size £47), a skincare product I have seen absolute rave reviews of and one which I've been keen to try for a while. It uses a high powered Vitamin C complex to help smooth fine lines, plump and protect skin - I can't wait to give this a try! A favourite brand of mine features inside the February box with a sample of theBalm Cosmetics Frat Boy Blush/Shadow (full size £15.50). This was the first theBalm product I ever tried and is one of my favourite blushers. I already have this in the full size, so I'll be passing this on to a friend who I think will love it just as much as me.

Last but not least and the product from the brand new Birchbox brand, my February box included a full size LOC One and Done Shadow Stick in the summer perfect shade Perfect Cents, a lovely golden bronze. Highly pigmented and with incredible lasting power, I have to admit I am hugely impressed by the formula for this shadow stick and think this range may be one that proves to be extremely popular with beauty adorers...

A fantastic February box from Birchbox, I'm super happy with the selection of products which nicely cover all aspects of beauty with some lovely brands. If the 2016 boxes carry on this way, Birchbox is going to have a fantastic year of incredible boxes! Has the February box tempted you to sign up?

There's no surprise that with February meaning Valentine's Day, the theme around the February The Melt Crowd box was love and sweet scents, with a couple of stand-outs thrown in for good measure.

The exclusive scents in the February box are Bamboo & White Grapefruit, Acai Berry and Rose. There's also a The Melt Crowd Preview scent of Espresso which smells delicious, very excited for this to join the range as a full size candle! A lovely selection of scents this month, I really love the exclusive and preview scents and the heart shaped melts make a lovely change from the traditional scent melts! Looking forward to seeing what the March box theme will be. Let me know if the February box has persuaded you to sign up to The Melt Crowd.

The Vegan Kind | A monthly lifestyle subscription box including food, drinks and home products which are all 100% suitable for vegans. Each month The Vegan Kind donate 20p from the cost of each box to an animal charity chosen by subscribers, with each box including a generous array of products as well as a tasty recipe card. The Vegan Kind costs £10 a month plus £3.15 post and packaging. Available at

It's no secret I adore our monthly The Vegan Kind boxes, but the February box is easily my favourite in a long while - and that's saying something, as every box impresses me!

First up, the beauty product and one I'm already using and loving, a huge full size Human+Kind Grapefruit Shampoo and Body Wash (200ml, £6) which I use as a shampoo. It smells lovely, not too overpowering with the citrus scent being spot on, lightweight and perfect for my fine hair. I'm really enjoying using this shampoo and I was in need of a new shampoo having just run out of my beloved Faith in Nature Coconut Shampoo, which was another The Vegan Kind find!

Chocolate fan? The Vegan Kind has you covered with a bar of Ombar Centres Coconut & Vanilla (35g, £1.99) which was particularly lovely with a cup of tea this morning, and a eat chic Box of Two Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups (38g, £3). The eat chic peanut butter cups have featured in The Vegan Kind before, so I was really chuffed to see them in the box again this month - absolutely delicious!

Sorting out your savoury needs there's a packet of Chikas Sea Salt and Black Pepper Cashews (45g, £1.89) which I have stashed in my treat box for when I need something quick and easy. Seasoned with sea salt and black pepper, they're packed full of protein so make a perfect healthy snack and even better popped in your handbag for on the go. Something I have already devoured and which left me craving more as soon as I'd finished the packet was a bag of Ten Acre Sour Cream and Chive Popcorn (28g, 80p). Full of flavour but by no means overpowering, quite possibly the yummiest popcorn I've had in a long while!

For those of you who love tea like me there was also a bag of 15 TG Green Tea Teabags (37g, £4.29) included in the February box. There were 3 flavour options for subscribers and the flavour I received was Green Tea with Jujube & Osmanthus. I'm not the biggest fan of Green Tea but I'll give these a try!

Another month, another tasty and eye-opening The Vegan Kind box. I love discovering new products and brands through this box and it's definitely changed a few of the snacks and treats we buy with our shopping, as well as changing a few of my everyday beauty essentials to the vegan friendly brands I've discovered through The Vegan Kind. Have you signed up yet?
