GLAMGLOW Brightmud Eye Treatment
15 February
I love a bit of GLAMGLOW, and it was actually when Sophia tweeted some time ago that BeautyMart were having a 50% off site wide sale that I quickly picked up the GLAMGLOW Brightmud Eye Treatment.
You get 12 treatments within the box, priced at £39.99 from FeelUnique, so that’s £3.30 a go. They are a luxury treat, but that’s to be expected from the GLAMGLOW range, as it is more towards the high-end price range.
I was extremely excited to try these out, as other than eye creams and the odd eye serum, I don’t particularly pay any special attention to the skin around my eyes. It’s more delicate than the rest of the skin on your face and will be most susceptible to fine lines and wrinkles and of course those dreaded dark circles, oh and puffiness. So all in all, with all the problems your eyes can face (no one wants to wake up looking like they've been punched in the eye socket), we should pay them some special attention.
The GLAMGLOW Bright Mud Eye Treatment is formulated with a non-dry bio-active mud (fancy!), which claims to dramatically reduce the appearance of dark circles, fine lines and puffiness. The mask contains Bentonites (an absorbent impure clay) and draws toxins from your skin whilst delivering nutrients and minerals. It does all this in 3 minutes, impressive!
I'm always sceptical of such radical claims, but these were designed to work for the crème de crème of Hollywood stars prior to red carpet events as a quick pick me up to give radiant and smooth eyes, so I thought I’d give them a whirl.
You apply one capsule to each eye, all around the socket and brow bone. There is plenty of product to easily cover each eye. It’s a dark brown very wet jelly like mud with some black particles within it (similar to the GLAMGLOW Mudmask). After 3 minutes you wipe the mask off with a tissue, before it has the chance to dry.
So what were the results like? My eyes felt really smooth and soft after using the product. They did appear to look a little brighter and illuminated. I have some mild dehydration lines from time to time around my eyes, and when I used these they would disappear, so they are certainly hydrating. I’d say for a quick fix pick me up these are a really great product. They are particularly indulgent and give even better results if you use them straight from the fridge.

I've tried the Youth Mud, was a bit much for my skin, I think thirst mud would have been better suited. xx
DeleteI've tried the Thirst Mud mask and really liked it! Wasn't a fan of Youth Mud either xo
DeleteI love GlamGlow's ThirstyMud and original mask, so I've been tempted to try these. They sound perfect for using prior to a special occasion/event and, as I have a few hen-dos and wedding coming up, I think I'll have to splurge!
