A couple of weeks ago when I shared my post on Christmas gifts under £30, I included a limited edition eyeshadow palette from Soap & Glory which got a lot of attention and love on Instagram and Twitter. Since then this has been one of my most used eyeshadow palettes, adoring the shade selection and finishes which are particularly lovely for this time of year.

The Perfect Ten Eyeshadow Palette (£16) is limited edition, not to mention currently part of the Boots 3 for 2 offer across all Christmas gifts, I thought it would be a great time to share a more in-depth full review with you all, as this really is a beautiful palette not to be missed! It would make a fantastic gift for any friends or loved ones who you are yet to tick off on your Christmas list, or even a nice end of year treat for yourself. Plus, it's a bit of a bargain buy - what's not to love?!

The palette itself is exceptionally light-weight, presented in a very sturdy cardboard compact which includes a mirror and dual-ended eyeshadow brush. Usually I'm not one for cardboard palette casing, but this is a lot sturdier than many I have come across and seems to work well with the slimline design of the palette. If you own (or have seen in person) theBalm Nude Tude Eyeshadow Palette (£30), it's only a fraction bigger in size.

The palette houses 10 individual eyeshadows which perfectly cover every shade you would need to create looks that are appropriate for day-time looks and work appropriate makeup, with shades that transition well for turning looks from day to night and even a few real stand-out shades which would effortlessly create a night-time smokey eye. It's one of those palettes that has endless possibilities, whilst the shades themselves aren't too loud or garish.

All of the shades are incredibly pretty, I honestly think it could be one of my favourite palettes yet, which is a big claim considering I very rarely rate high-street shadows. The finishes range from soft mattes to soft satins, subtle shimmers and micro-glitters. There is not one single shade I do not love, every single shade from the palest neutral vanilla shades which have a hint of iridescent undertones, to the shimmering mid-tone taupes and even the warm plums and deep navy blues, every shade is wearable, every shade just works.

The formula is very impressive for the price. Regardless of finish the powders are buttery soft, no fall-out whatsoever and packed full of pigmentation that applies well and blends very easily; longevity wise we're talking all day wear with a good eyeshadow primer. There's no issue with creasing or smudging throughout the day, no crumbly shadows which create a mess. There are no negatives to this palette, for me it is positive after positive and I honestly can't recommend enough that you snap this beauty up before it's gone for good!
