Origins Ginzing Refreshing Face Mask

When I first started blogging one of the most popular skincare products that everyone was trying, was the Origins Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream. An eye cream I have used and adored myself, it's one of the few eye creams I have repurchased several times and was a particular favourite of mine when I was in University and had lots of early mornings for the commute down to London. My love for the eye cream soon become a love for the ever-expanding Ginzing range, finding the Ginzing Energy-Boosting Moisturiser to be one of the most lovely and beneficial facial moisturisers I have ever come across, and one I always ensure to have stashed away in my skincare drawer. Since then more and more products have joined the Ginzing family, and the latest to join my ever-growing list of Origins favourites is the Ginzing Refreshing Face Mask, a mask I couldn't resist giving a try.

Like all the products in the Ginzing range, the Refreshing Face Mask aims to act as a pick me up for tired, lack-lustre skin that needs a boost to refresh and revive. Described as a 'shot of espresso for tired skin', the key ingredients utilised in the range are Coffee Beans, Cucumber and Hoelen Mushroom. These key ingredients work to refresh, energize, soothe, ultimately giving skin a revitalised, renewed and healthy boost. If you've had a busy day and feel like your skin could do with perking up, the Refreshing Face Mask is an instant boost that'll leave you looking and feeling better in no time.

A gel mask, it can be used as is simply stored in your skincare stash, or if you fancy a really refreshing and energising boost, then you can pop it in the fridge overnight to keep it extra cool. The consistency is just right for a gel mask; thick enough that it won't slip off your face, but thin enough that it's an ease to apply and remove. Using the Refreshing Face Mask is easy and particularly mess free compared to other masks, for example those which are clay based; simply apply with a clean foundation brush (the easiest way to quickly apply masks mess-free), leave on for 10 minutes before removing. It's advised that you simply remove the excess with a cotton pad or tissue, but personally I like to use a flannel to rinse off and follow up with my skin care, especially if using on a morning when I'll be popping out or putting makeup on.

After use my skin is left looking brighter, more refreshed and revived and my complexion overall looks happier and youthful. I particularly love using this as the last step mask when using 3 masks in one go to tackle different skin concerns, as I find it a lovely way to finish off after using detoxifying and exfoliating masks, particularly when used straight from the fridge. It's definitely a mask I plan on repurchasing when it runs out, a great addition to the Ginzing product range.

The Origins Refreshing Face Masks costs £23 for 100ml and can be found over on www.origins.co.uk as well as Origins counters nationwide.
