Whenever the end of year drawers near I always find it really lovely to go through all the products I've enjoyed using that year. Usually it's the makeup and skincare posts I get most excited to share my favourite products of the year for, but this year there are some real stand-out products which have become regulars in my body care routine, that I am really excited to share them all with you today. A couple are pregnancy-specific (although products which would be just as lovely for those not expecting, too), with a couple of indulgent treats, some delicious scents and a real budget-friendly all-round winner. Let's get stuck in, shall we?

2015 was the year I became completely addicted to Lush again, with the new releases being more than enough to reignite my love for a brand I have used for 13 years. One of the new products which is now available online and nationwide, but which started out it's journey as an Oxford Street exclusive, is The Comforter Shower Cream (100g - 1kg, £4.95 - £27.95). I have become absolutely obsessed with this blackcurrant scented moisturising wonder, now onto my second bottle and a must-have in our bathroom. It's blooming lovely! There's Cassis Absolute, Bergamot and Cypress Essential Oils, giving this shower cream the overall scent of a scrumptious glass of Ribena.

A new product which has joined my routine over recent months and one which was an impulse buy, mainly so my order qualified for free delivery, is the Dr. Bronner Organic Lavender Shaving Gel (207ml, £7.29). I very rarely talk about shaving on the blog, but this has become such a favourite of mine that it more than deserved it's place in my body care favourites. It's turned out to be a pretty darn lovely impulse buy, and possibly my favourite shaving gel yet. I'm a big fan of Dr. Bronner but I had only used the liquid soap before, and mainly for washing my makeup brushes. This is the first Dr. Bronner product I have actually used for myself on my body and I love it! It has natural and organic ingredients with a pure Castile Baby Mild Soap base alongside natural oils and Organic Shikakai, which is a natural cleanser found in the seeds of Acacia Concinna, with an added dose of Organic Sugar and Grape Juice. It is described as having a gel consistency but I think it's more like a luxurious body wash texture wise. I find it gives me a much closer shave, a little goes such a long way (I use a 50p size amount for one entire leg) and my skin actually feels so much softer after use, down to it's moisturising properties.

Something a little more luxurious is my favourite scent of the year. I actually found it very difficult to pick one specific scent to feature in this post as I have found myself really adoring quite a few scents this year, but I went for the one I have used the most and would repurchase in a heartbeat - Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Eau de Parfum (30ml - 90ml, £38.25 - £71.40). I've mentioned this one so many times, even my recent post on my Autumn scent library, so I won't go into too much detail here, but basically this scent is absolutely delicious and if you don't have it already, then it needs to go on your Christmas wishlist! There's top notes of Coffee and Pink Pepper, heart notes of Orange Blossom, Jasmine and Vanilla, finished off with base notes of Patchouli and Cedar. It's feminine with a sweet fruity floral scent with an underlying chic twist that adds a musky depth.

A couple of pregnancy essentials which have been mentioned several times on the blog in recent months, the Weleda Stretch Mark Massage Oil (100ml, £15.95) and Secret Saviours Night Cream (125ml, £23.99) both deserve their place in my body care favourites. The Weleda oil has been my favourite oil throughout my pregnancy, mainly due to the consistency. It contains Vitamin E,m Wheat Germ Oil, Arnica Extract and Sweet Almond Oil, which work together to keep skin soft, moisturised and comfortable, helping to keep skin in tip-top condition to prevent stretch marks and minimise the appearance of those that do appear. You can check out a more in-depth review of this pregnancy wonder in my September favourites. The Secret Saviours Night Cream earned it's spot in my favourites because of the way the scent instantly makes me feel soothed and relaxed. Not only does the lovely formula leave my skin softer and smoother, but the scent has become a real comforting scent for me and a product I look forward to using each evening. You can find out more about this calming and skin-softening wonder in my recent pregnancy post on pregnancy essentials and must-have products

An oil I've enjoyed using all over and not specific to my pregnancy and growing bump is the REN Moroccan Rose Gold Glow Perfect Dry Oil (100ml, £26) which leaves my skin feeling unbelievably soft. I actually prefer to use this one just on my legs, where it leaves skin so soft, hydrated and utterly smooth, it's absolutely heavenly! It utilises bio extracts of Omega 6 Linoleic Acid, derived from Moroccan Argan Oil which works to moisturises and nourishes skin, Tocotrienols, derived from Arctic Cranberry Seed Oil which helps to reduce UV damage, as well as Liquid Wax, derived from Vegetable Ester which works to leave skin and hair with a silky sheen. It's suitable for all skin types and instantly absorbs into skin when massaged in, due to it's dry oil nature. It has a beautiful scent of Moroccan Rose and effortlessly keeps skin soft and hydrated throughout the day.

Last but not least and a product I use every winter without fail, Kiehl's Creme de Corps (75ml - 1 litre, £8.50 - £80). I adore this moisturiser and find when it comes to the winter months there are few products which make me feel as pampered and luxurious as Creme de Corps. It also happens to be an absolute wonder for use on tattoos, both during the healing process and after to keep tattoos bright and looking fresh. A favourite of Victoria's Secret Angels, it contains Beta-Carotene, a naturally derived antioxidant found in orange and red vegetables which is used for Vitamin A production, Cocoa Buter, derived from roasted seeds of Cocoa which softens skin, Sesame Oil, derived from Sesame Seeds which helps products to absorb into skin with a softening aspect, alongside Squalane, a key ingredient which features in many Kiehl's products, helping to restore skin's natural moisture levels, keeping skin soft, smooth and supple. Not one I can afford to use all year round, but an essential in colder months.

Don't forget you can check out my makeup favourites of 2015, with my skincare and hair care favourites to feature on the blog over the next couple of weeks. In the meantime I'd love to hear what body care products impressed you the most this year, and which products you think I should be adding to my to-try list for 2016!
