Scent Love with Soap & Glory

I still remember when Soap & Glory first hit Boots stores nationwide, way back in 2006, a brand that has been adored by beauty fans and scent addicts ever since. I hold my hands up and admit I was absolutely 100% addicted to Soap & Glory back in the day, buying every new product, hailing them as my absolute favourite, stockpiling the huge Christmas gift sets (because let's be honest, they're still the ultimate gift set) and using pretty much nothing but Soap & Glory for years.

Although I've always been a big fan of Soap & Glory, finding their scent ranges delicious and their products very effective for the price, over the past couple of years my lust for them started to wane. I think I over did it a little bit using them so much and it got to the point where I just wanted to try something else! There's a few new ranges and products over recent years which have spurred my interest again though and most recently I have been falling back in love with Soap & Glory all over again thanks to their delicious Orangeasm range.

The Orangeasm range is delicious with a refreshing scent of Sicilian Lemon, sweet Orange Peel Oil and fresh Green Mandarin. It's great as a scent to refresh and revive in the morning and I find it perfect for helping me feel more awake. The scent is delicious; sweet, zesty and invigorating all in one!

Starting things off in the shower I have been loving the Orangeasm Body Wash (£6.50, 500ml) which has the lovely Orangeasm scent, but under the hot steam of a shower it's given a new invigorating dimension that is instantly energizing. If you've ever used a Soap & Glory body wash before you will know that they last absolutely ages and they are such fab value for money too! As well as Sicilian Lemon, sweet Orange Peel Oils and fresh Green Mandarin, the body wash includes the exclusive Soap & Glory MSUDS Technology, TRIPLE TEA Antioxidant Complex, Ginseng and Pinkpepperberry, which together work to clean skin whilst boosting moisture.

I always make sure to exfoliate every few days when in the shower and lately I've been turning to the delicious and very limited edition Orangeasm Exfoliating Body Polish (£8, 250ml) which is a wake up call in a tube! It's been created to work as a 3-in-1, working to polish skin to smooth perfection whilst stimulating and reviving all in one. With the signature Orangeasm scent, it also includes Pinkpepperberry, Jojona Moistumelt Beads and Green Tea Antioxidant properties, so quite the hard-working body polish. The consistency is just right to make this beauty last a while (I use mine a couple of times a week and I'm only a 1/3 of the way through after a month's use) and it's gentle enough to effectively smooth skin without feeling too abrasive. It's also one of the easier body polishes to rinse off, which is always a benefit over the more abrasive and thick scrubs available.

One of my favourite all-time products from Soap & Glory is their range of body butters, because let's be honest, they make my skin feel amazing! Using the Orangeasm Super Rich Body Butter (£10, 300ml) has made me wonder why I ever stopped using them in the first place. Luxuriously thick and deliciously scented, it easily sinks into skin when massaged in and leaves my skin feeling deeply hydrated and beautifully soft. As well as the usual scent culprits in the Orangeasm range, this lovely tub of softening goodness includes Shea Butter Massage Balls and MANGOMILK; slather your skin with this and your skin will love you for it!

I'm a big fan of layering products of the same scent to help that scent linger throughout the day - although that said I do find the scents Soap & Glory has to offer last really well even when used individually. To finish off my refreshing morning routine over recent weeks I've been spritzing the Orangeasm Super Tonic Fragrance (£10, 100ml) which has become my most reached for daily scent. Teaming cool Mint with the signature Orangeasm scent, it's a zesty, invigorating and sophisticated scent that has been lovely over the last few weeks of summer, but a scent I am also really enjoying as we head into autumn. It's lovely and light, instantly refreshing and I also really love the bottle for this fragrance which is tall and slender.

Orangeasm has certainly rekindled my love for Soap & Glory. What's your favourite Soap & Glory scent?
