New brands pop up everyday and there's a constant stream of new product launches, creating excited beauty babble and product lust. When you spend your time writing about beauty products and are lucky enough to hear about these new products on a behind-the-scenes basis, you often come across brands who you may not have heard of otherwise, a brand which catches your eye and gets your really excited. Bagsy Beauty is one of those brands for me.

Presented as the next best thing for your handbag beauty stash, Bagsy Beauty have created a beautiful range of multi-tasking products that are practical, with shades that cover a variety of tastes and what I find most appealing, packaging with is beautifully designed, unique and incredibly light-weight, making this a perfect range for your handbag whilst also looking pretty set upon your dressing table. The entire range has been created by a dedicated team who once worked for global beauty brands before creating the Bagsy brand, with attention to detail for everything from the perfect variety of shades on offer to the selection of must-have and essential products and of course, that bright and colourful packaging that makes the perfect finishing touch.

A product which featured in my July favourites, the Bagsy Lip Velvet Soft Matte Lip Colour (£12) comes in four everyday wearable shades, each working well to compliment a variety of skin-tones with ease. I've been trying out Spinning Plates which I have found to be a really flattering shade to compliment any look, as well as a shade I see myself wearing all year round with ease. It's a gorgeous warm nude with berry undertones that glides on effortlessly with the most beautiful creamy formula. The colour pay-off is pretty darn good considering how velvety soft the formula is, lasting well throughout the day and only needing to be re-applied after eating and drinking. Finish wise we're talking demi-matte with a lovely little shine coupled with a light-weight formula that feels comfortable on the lip. I'm such a big fan of this beauty and might have to add a couple more shades from the range into my lip product stash!

I'm such a sucker for lip balms and hoard them like they're going out of fashion, so it was a delight to receive the beautifully packaged and utterly deliciously scented Bagsy Lip Cocoon Moisture Balm (£7) which is available in two shades, of which I've been trying out Raspberry. With a hydrating formula of Sunflower Oil, Shea Butter, Castor Oil and Beeswax, it works to leave lips feeling softer and more hydrated, with an addictive berry scent that makes a nice change to the minty scent many lip products seem to have nowadays. Raspberry is a sheer raspberry pink that works wonderfully to finish off a soft natural look, and when worn alone on makeup free days, can give your lips a lovely healthy and plump look.

The Bagsy Wow Lips Full Colour Chubby Stick (£12) is perfect for anyone who loves the ease of chubby-stick lip products, quick and fuss-free to apply wherever you are. Also available in four shades, I've been using a lovely pinky coral in the form of Cocktail Hour, with I have absolutely adored for a finishing touch to a toned-down look with soft contouring and a neutral eye. I don't know how it does it, but this shade makes my skin look so healthy and happy, it's wonderful! I'd say it's roughly half the size of your standard chubby stick lip product, but that's what makes it ideal for popping in your handbag. The only thing I'd change about this one is having the shade name on the product, as I have to check back whenever a friend asks me what I'm wearing (as I decided not to keep the outer tube packaging)! Like Spinning Plates the colour pay-off is very decent and I'd say you get a good 4 hours or so wear before needing to reapply. It also leaves my lips feeling pretty darn good throughout the day, with a moisturising formula that's softening and very comfortable to wear.

Easily my favourite product of the bunch, the Bagsy Ray of Sunshine Perfect Glow Bronzing Powder (£18) and a product you may have seen cropping up on more than a few Instagram accounts. Just like everyone else, this product brought a serious smile to my face! Not only does it have the gorgeous Bagsy outer packaging, but once you open up the box you'll find your perfect healthy-glow giving bronzer kept safe and snug in a Tiffany-esque velvet pouch and embossed on the product itself is a lovelyl quote; "Sunshine is my favourite accessory". If that wasn't enough to get this beauty onto your wishlists, the formula, quality and overall lasting power of Ray of Sunshine should definitely get this one straight into your beauty basket! Available in two shades, I've been using Light/Medium which for me works perfectly as a contour shade as well as an overall bronze. It's slightly warm in tone compared to the popular taupe shades on the beauty market right now, but manages to steer clear of that orange look. With a buttery soft (but fallout free) formula it is absolutely amazing to work and work with, blending to a lovely natural looking finish. Perfect.

I'm absolutely smitten with Bagsy Beauty and I think this could be the start of a long-term love affair. Will you be giving Bagsy a try?
