June was a good month for me beauty wise, because I found myself falling in love with some new products which had stuck their way into my routine, as well as dishing out a few old favourites with shades more appropriate for the hot sunny days we've been lucky to get here in the UK.

For eyes there have been two products which have really stuck out for me throughout June, products I used pretty much every single day. I love mineral and loose eyeshadows and I have a few in my stash, with my favourite brand being Inika. I just think their formula is spot on with such a lovely shade range and they are a dream to apply and blend. Throughout June I was besotted with Inika Mineral Eyeshadow in 02 Whisper (£14.50), which is a lovely peachy beige that works so, so well as a wash of colour over the lid but also works beautifully when teamed with other shadows. It has a slight warm golden undertone, very unique compared to other shades in my beauty stash and really makes my brown eyes pop. Full review here.

I have been obsessed with using coloured liners on my lower lash line, one of the easiest ways to wear brighter and bolder colours without it being too stark or over the top. My go-to which I love with pretty much any eye look is KIKO Graphic Ritual Kajal Eyeliner (£2.90) in 03 Touch Turquoise, a lovely turquoise blue liner which was part of the recent Limited Edition KIKO Modern Tribes Summer Collection. It has the most subtle silver and turquoise shimmer, which is very fine so quite flattering for a liner, applying super easily with a creamy formula that glides on and once set stays in place all day with ease. Full review of 03 Touch Turquoise and the Modern Tribes Collection here.

For cheeks I have been really loving a blusher I added to my collection last summer, which is the Limited Edition MAC Sharon Osbourne Peaches & Cream Powder Blush (£23). I spent weeks deliberating over whether or not to pick this up last summer and I managed to snap it up before it sold out for good. It's one of the prettiest pink blushes in my stash; with blue undertones it has the most subtle fuchsia touch and works well all year round, but is particularly lovely in summer. Full review here

For a self-confessed lipstick addict, it's been a long time since I've worn a traditional lipstick. Instead I have found myself smitten with lipstick pencils which are super easy to apply precisely. When I've wanted a really bright and stand-out lip I have loved wearing my Bobbi Brown Art Stick Shade Extension in Hot Orange (£20); a super vivid and bright red with orange undertones that looks dreamy with a golden glow and natural tan. This was part of the Limited Edition Bobbi Brown Hot Collection which was by far one of my favourite Bobbi Brown collections yet.

A more budget-friendly option that I've been adoring for lip pencils, also from the KIKO Modern Tribes Collection, the KIKO Free Spirit Lips & Cheeks (£8.90) in 01 Hearty Peach and 05 Unique Camellia. These are multi-purpose and can be used as both lipsticks as well as blushers, but personally I prefer them as lipsticks. Heart Peach is a lovely peachy nude - you can see me wearing it in this Instagram picture - whilst Unique Camellia is a bolder warm berry, but subtle enough to be perfect for any season, opposed to the much darker and deeper berry shades in my collection which are more winter appropriate - you can see me wearing it in this Instagram picture.

Onto skincare and there's two products I have really enjoyed using throughout June. First off a product which makes makeup removal incredibly easy is the RMK Point Make Up Remover (£20) which was one of the products featured inside the Free Your Mind May 2015 Birchbox (full review here). If you've been reading Tattooed Tealady for a while you will know I am a big, big fan of the Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover (£16.70) (full review here), and I'm yet to find a makeup remover that works as well to effortlessly remove eye makeup. RMK is that eye makeup remover - if anything, it removes eye makeup even easier, I am honestly astounded by how good this remover is!

Last but not least and a product from a set I have been trying out, which I'll be reviewing in full very soon, I am amazed by how much my skin adores the Herborist Revitalising & Firming Day Cream*. I won't say too much now, as I'll be sharing my thoughts on 4 Herborist products very soon, but in the mean time you can sign up to be the first to know when Herborist lands at!
