We all know I'm a sucker for liquid lacquers. Over the past few months I've shared my love for liquid lacquers in quite a few different posts, in particular my Top Brands for Liquid Lacquers post which featured my top picks of both high-street and high-end liquid lacquers. I'll always love the traditional lipstick, but there's something about liquid lipsticks that I just adore.

Too Faced are quickly becoming one of my go-to brands and they've released a new line of liquid lacquers which are set to steal the heart of lip-product addicts who can't resist a unique, stand-out lip. Not the first liquid lacquer that Too Faced have released, they already have a very extensive range of their original Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks - you can check out my review of the summer perfect and super bright Candy here. It's safe to say, Too Faced have liquid lacquers down to a T!

The new range is a metallic twist on the melted lipsticks, with a gorgeous range of 8 shades perfect for any season, including neutral nudes and pretty peaches, to pinks and bold fuchsias and stand-out violets and purples. Presented in the same tube and format as the original melted lipsticks, they have a soft applicators which the product squeezes through with the perfect shape and design to make application super easy.

Although they have a metallic finish, it's not super intense. I have to admit I was expecting a really powerful metallic finish with a highly pigmented formula, like the original melted lipsticks which really pack a punch pigmentation wise. Whilst they do have really great colour pay-off, it's not quite as intense and could easily be worn with one application for a more subtle colour, or built up for more intensity. That said though, I actually think this would make them so much more wearable because they're a metallic finish you can wear at any confidence level - it's a great way for those still testing the waters with different finishes to explore metallic lipstick.

Lasting power they're pretty darn good and I find they last well throughout eating and drinking, only needing to top up after a few hours. My favourite so far is definitely Tu-Tu, which makes a perfect shade for transitioning from spring to summer, a pretty metallic peach that's not too far off NARS Orgasm.

Set to release over summer in Debenhams with an RRP of £19, I see these becoming quite the beauty hit with lip product addicts...
