Last week I shared my favourite lipsticks for spring in my post 'Spring Ready Lips' - so it seemed only fair that my favourite cheek products for spring should get the spotlight too! Featuring my 7 favourite high-street blushers, covering powder and cream for a hint of colour this spring.

When it comes to spring blushes I am all about the corals, peaches and pretty pinks. Unlike winter when I love my warmer berry blushes, and summer when my brighter blushes come out to play, spring is when I want a subtle and pretty pop of colour that isn't too overpowering, shades that go with any look - especially brighter lips and bold eyes.

The Body Shop All-in-One Cheek Colour range is a beautiful range of powder blushes that applies and blends like a dream with a velvety soft powder formula. My favourite spring-time shade from the range is 01 Macaroon, a super pretty pale peachy pink that works well to add just the right amount of colour whilst still being subtle and flattering. At £8 for 4g, the All-in-One Cheek Colour range is pretty purse-friendly, with some gorgeous shades for any season. Full review here.

For something a bit more intense, Makeup Revolution Cream Blush in Peach Cream is perfect, a beautiful peach with a touch of apricot that once blended in makes a very pretty pop of colour. At £1.50 it's a total bargain - but it doesn't seem to be available online any more, which is a shame. You might still be able to snap this up in your local Superdrug if they have any left! The Max Factor Creme Puff Blush range is my newest makeup obsession, I am completely besotted with everything from the packaging and dreamy baked formula, to the beautiful shades to compliment any skin tone. I reviewed (and raved) about the full range in my recent post 'Max Factor Creme Puff Blush', and I think 15 Seductive Pink and 05 Lovely Pink are such pretty shades for spring! Seductive Pink is a lovely mid-toned rosy pink, whilst Lovely Pink is a subtle pale pink. At £8.99 each they're not the cheapest high-street blushes, but boy are they worth investing in! Available in-store and online at www.boots.com

theBalm Down Boy is a lovely alternative shade to the usual pinks in my beauty stash; a lilac toned pink that's unique without being overpowering. theBalm products are amazing quality for the price and their blushers have beautiful soft powder formulas that are easy to apply and even easier to blend.  The most expensive of my picks, but at a huge 9.9g, you can pick this beauty up for £15.50 at FeelUnique.com with free delivery. Full review here.

Another budget-friendly is the £1 Makeup Revolution Powder Blush in Treat. A velvety soft powder formula, with a touch of fall-out but nothing too much to worry about considering the price, Treat is a warming apricot that I love all year round. Full review here.

Last but not least, and another cream formula blush, spring is when I use the Bourjois Cream Blush in 01 Nude Velvet the most. Nude Velvet is a subtle pinky nude that goes with literally any look, adding just the right amount of warmth to cheeks to be flattering and even more lovely when teamed with a neutral eye and soft pink lip. Available in-store and online at www.boots.com, RRP £7.99. Full review here.
