After sharing my top four serums for oily skin back in February, I decided it was about time to share my favourite facial oils which work in harmony with oily skin, too. I'm a big, big fan of facial oils, but it wasn't always this way. As someone whose main skin woe is battling oiliness, I used to steer away from facial oils completely, convinced that they would do nothing but exacerbate my skin type. Little did I know that one of the most beneficial things I could do was add a facial oil into my skincare routine! I've been using facial oils religiously for two years now, and they are one of my favourite skincare products to use without a shadow of a doubt.

Bodhi & Birch Neroli Luce Revitalising Face Oil, 15ml £32
Big, big fan of Bodhi & Birch, a brand I think everyone should give a try whether it's something from their skincare range or their body care range. Incredible ingredients, phenomenal scents and beautiful packaging, they're one of my top natural brands. The Neroli Luce Revitalising Face Oil is best suited to normal, combination, dull/tired or blemish prone skin and works to revitalise, rebalance, nourish and hydrate skin with skin-toning Tunisian Neroli, rejuvenating Frankincense and restorative Sea Buckthorn Oil alongside an array of skin-loving vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids. With an incredibly soothing scent of Mediterranean Orange Blossom, it has a very light-weight consistency that leaves skin looking and feeling healthier and revived. Simply apply 1-2 pumps morning and night, and you're skin will love you for it!

Nude ProGenius Omega Treatment Oil, 30ml £58
If you love products that are super light-weight, the Nude ProGenius Omega Treatment Oil is perfect. Think of this one as super-food for your skin. It's jam-packed full of essential nutrients for your skin to indulge in, containing Omegas 3, 6, 7 and 9 alongside 10 skin-loving plant oils which work together to reduce the signs of ageing, provide your skin with a hydration boost and leave your skin beautifully soft and smooth. This one also has one of my favourite applicators; a pipette which disperses drops by pushing a 'button' at the top, super easy. I find 3 drops is more than enough for my face and neck morning and night, and it also works amazingly well under makeup.

Balance Me Rose Otto Face Oil, 5ml £10 - 30ml £32
I've lost count of the amount of times I have raved about this facial oil, but it really is one of the most utterly beautiful skincare products I have ever tried. With a subtle soothing scent of rose, it has a blend of Pure Rose Otto, Palma Rosa and Rose Geranium essential oils which work to fortify delicate, reactive skin to stimulate cell production and give skin a much needed hydration boost, alongside a smoothing and plumping anti-oxidant rich Arctic Cloudberry, Abyssinian and Rosehip Oils as well as soothing Cucumber, Oat and Starflower Oils. If that impressive list of ingredients wasn't enough, there's also Olive Squalene and Olive Pomace which help create a smoother and softer feel to skin, with a perfect touch of natural radiance. A touch thicker in consistency than a lot of facial oils I've tried, I like to indulgently apply 4-6 drops for my face, neck and decolletage. One of my favourite skincare products ever.

Antipodes Divine Avocado and Rosehip Face Oil, £18
This was a bit of a revolution for me, one of the first skincare products I tried which truly benefited my skin and the first skincare product I really fell in love with. I will repurchase this over and over again, it's that amazing - plus the price is by far one of the most budget-friendly for it's type! A luxurious facial oil which uses Avocado and Rosehip Oils to protect skin against environmental damage, whilst hydrating, softening and firming, it's packed full of antioxidants and vitamins and has been scientifically proven to stimulate Type 1 Collagen. With a light and refreshing scent of Jasmine and Sweet Orange, it feels beautiful once applied to skin and does wonders for making skin look and feel healthier, stronger and happier. Another one that's perfect for both morning and night time use, with a squeeze-pipette applicator.

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate, 30ml £36
A facial oil which should be used exclusively at night, the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate is one of Kiehl's best-selling products with a well deserved cult status. With 99.8% naturally derived ingredients, it works to replenish and hydrate skin, reviving skin to leave a radiant complexion. Enriched with Squalane, Evening Primrose Oil, Omega 6 Fatty Acids and essential oils including Lavender, it has a very, very light-weight formula much like the Nude option, a beautiful elixir which leaves skin velvety soft after just one use. The scent is very subtle with Lavender pulling through to create a soothing and relaxing scent, with a push-down pipette like the ProGenius Omega Treatment Oil and I find just a couple of drops is more than enough to leave my face and neck feeling pampered.

If you have oily skin you shouldn't be afraid of using a facial oil. They can be hugely beneficial for helping balance, rejuvenate and revitalise skin, and as a lot of skin oiliness is due to dehydration, work wonderfully to re-hydrate and replenish skin. Personally I have found my oily skin far easier to manage since adding facial oils into my skincare routine, a product type I once feared but now couldn't be without.
