The camouflaging magic of Benefit Erase Paste

A picture of Benefit Erase Paste
Benefit Erase Paste is a product I've mentioned very briefly in a mini review a good couple of years ago now, but I decided it was about time I gave this purple pot of brightening camouflage center stage on Tattooed Tealady, because it's a product I use most days.

Introducing La Montana Candles

It's no secret I adore candles - I light at least one candle every single day -, but it's not very often I come across a brand whose scents are so powerful, beautiful and utterly mesmerising. It is my absolute pleasure to introduce La Montana to the blog!

Top Contour Products

Creating the perfect contour is becoming really popular on the beauty scene, with brands from all budgets creating products to make contouring easier for everyone from makeup novices to professionals.

Spring Perfect Scents

A picture of The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body Mist, Jo Malone Wild Bluebell, L'Occitane Magnolia & Mure, Diptyque Philosykos and Marc Jacobs Oh Lola!
Now that spring is in full swing I've changed up my fragrances and scents, putting away the deeper, warmer and muskier scents I turn to in winter, swapping them for the lighter, refreshing, sweet and floral scents I love in spring.

Too Faced are one of my favourite brands for eyeshadow palettes. A brand who never fails to create a beautiful, fun and unique design, with quirky themes and gorgeous shades, the latest release is perfect for makeup novices and eyeshadow addicts alike. Introducing, the delicious Sugar Pop Sugary Sweet Eye Shadow Collection.

Invisibobble Traceless Hair Ring

A picture of Invisibobble Traceless Hair Ring
I have seen a lot of people talk about Invisibobble, a product I would gravitate towards whenever in Boots but never quite taking the plunge to purchase. Hair accessories are always being released, with quirky names and designs, new 'innovative' ideas and styles, promising to give you this, that and the other. Hair is one aspect of our bodies that everyone is always trying to perfect, and it's a big market for brands to attract customers in.

Williamson Tea Limited Edition Tea Caddies

A picture of Williamson Tea Elephant Caddies
As a self-confessed tea addict I was really excited to be given the opportunity to try Williamson Tea. I've spotted Williamson Tea before, but never tried them myself until recently. Loved all over the world for their tasty teas, they're also really well known for their beautiful tea caddies.

5 Facial Oils for Oily Skin

A picture of Bodhi & Birch Neroli Luce Revitalising Face Oil, Nude ProGenius Omega Treatment Oil, Balance Me Rose Otto Face Oil, Antipodes Divine Face Oil and Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate
After sharing my top four serums for oily skin back in February, I decided it was about time to share my favourite facial oils which work in harmony with oily skin, too. I'm a big, big fan of facial oils, but it wasn't always this way. As someone whose main skin woe is battling oiliness, I used to steer away from facial oils completely, convinced that they would do nothing but exacerbate my skin type. Little did I know that one of the most beneficial things I could do was add a facial oil into my skincare routine! I've been using facial oils religiously for two years now, and they are one of my favourite skincare products to use without a shadow of a doubt.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush, worth the splurge?

A picture of Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Diffused Heat and Dim Infusion
I haven't tried much from Hourglass but when news hit the beauty scene of the new Ambient Lighting Blush range I was like a woman possessed. I am a sucker for beautifully designed and packaged products, and these blushes definitely fall into that category. I ended up pre-ordering two shades, without even seeing them in person or giving them a swatch. Was that a mistake?

How well do you know your scents?

A picture of Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau de Toilette
Nottingham born and bred, I am always proud of the fact I am from Robin Hood County. I've lived in a fair few cities in my 26 years, including the UK's capital itself, London, but Nottingham has always remained my favourite City. Nottingham is home.

The Sunday Post #30

Free Burberry Lipstick

A picture of a Free Burberry Lipstick
One thing I have always said about high-end brands, is that they really don't do offers enough. Whether that be discounts for 10% off of their products, or an actual beauty sale where their products are drastically reduced in price. There's only one brand that comes to mind when it comes to high-end beauty sales, and that's Illamasqua. As for discounted products, unless they're a brand featured in Debenhams, House of Fraser or John Lewis when they're competing against each other in 'price wars' (and even then, some of the more premium brands are never included in the offer), you better keep dreaming of those high-end discounts. So when the opportunity came about for a completely free no strings attached Burberry lipstick? I can't lie, I jumped at the chance!

The Sunday Post #29

Another week has been and gone far quicker than I'd like, but it was another week that's left me smiling.

Birchbox UK Limited Edition Tatler Box

A picture of Birchbox UK Limited Edition Tatler Box
I always adore the monthly Birchbox boxes, but a limited edition box in collaboration with Tatler? Now that's something to get really excited about! If you're a fan of beauty, then this is one box not to miss!

Smashbox Step by Step Contour Kit

A picture of Smashbox Step by Step Contour Kit
Over the past few months I've found myself completely obsessed with contouring products. As a chubby faced girl, contouring is something I've been trying to master for years, in the hopes that I'll be able to fake a slimmer face. Contouring in general seems to have really taken off on the beauty scene over recent years, with everyone giving it a try for themselves. This is great - because it means more and more brands are bringing out specific products and kits to make contouring easier and quicker!

Reading in April

A picture of books to read this April

Well, April is already flying by, isn't it? This month's 'Reading in' post is a little later than planned, but it's time to share the books on my reading list for April (one which I've even finished already!). If you've read any of these, I'd love to hear your thoughts on them as always! If you want to catch up on the books I read last month you can check out my full reviews in my recent post 'Finished Reading | March 2015'.

Budget blushes for spring cheeks

A picture of budget friendly blushes in spring shades
Last week I shared my favourite lipsticks for spring in my post 'Spring Ready Lips' - so it seemed only fair that my favourite cheek products for spring should get the spotlight too! Featuring my 7 favourite high-street blushers, covering powder and cream for a hint of colour this spring.

Isle of Wight Natural Candle Co. Lime & Vetiver

A picture of Isle of Wight Natural Candle Co. Lime & Vetiver
I'm a sucker for candles. Every room of our house is filled with candles, not a day goes by without me lighting one (or several!), filling our house with beautiful scents is my favourite thing to do. A new candle which has been taking spotlight in our house recently is the refreshing and reviving IW Natural Candle Co Lime & Vetiver.

Thierry Mugler Angel New Star Eau de Parfum

A picture of Thierry Mugler Angel New Star Eau de Parfum
Thierry Mugler Angel Eau de Parfum is a classic scent that has been extremely popular with fragrance lovers all over the world since it's release in 1992. Having recently tried it for myself, I can see exactly why this scent is so well-loved, it's beautiful.

Chanel lipsticks, worth the splurge?

A picture of Chanel Rouge Allure Lipsticks
Chanel is a brand I am always lusting after. There's something about Chanel that shouts luxury and chic, with packaging that tops the lot as truly timeless and classic whilst still being sophisticated. I don't own many Chanel products, a brand I indulge in very rarely as a treat buy, but the products I do have are products I absolutely adore.

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Review

A picture of Urban Decay Naked Basics 2
When it comes to eyeshadow palettes, few brands do them as well as Urban Decay. Urban Decay was the first brand to get me into palettes, a fantastic way to try a variety of shades in one compact format. For me eyeshadow palettes are invaluable; not only do they give you the ability to create a huge variety of looks, but they're far easier to travel with, easier to store and I often find it much easier to team shadows together from the selection in a palette, than trying to work out which of my individual shadows would work well together.

The Sunday Post #28

The first week of April has been very kind to me, and as I sit on my bed binging on chocolate, tea and Pretty Little Liars writing today's 'The Sunday Post', I feel incredibly content.

Lush Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub

A picture of Lush Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub
I recently shared my thoughts on the super-pretty Lush Hello Gorgeous Gift Set (see here), and one of the products featured inside was Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub. I've wanted to try Rub Rub Rub for years, and I really don't know why it's taken me so long to give it a try.

SOAK Yourself Full Moon Bath Ritual Recipe Kit

A picture of SOAK Yourself Full Moon Bath Ritual Recipe Kit
With a beautiful full moon tonight, it seemed like the perfect time to share the SOAK Yourself Full Moon Soak Bath Ritual Recipe Kit. I've always loved the moon - since I was a little girl I've been pretty awed and obsessed by space on a whole, and gazing at the moon on a clear night is something I can get lost in. Whether you believe in the power of the full moon or not, I think everyone has a little bit of superstition in them when it comes to a full moon. SOAK Yourself definitely believe in the power of a full moon.

Another book haul

A picture of books
I am finding it almost impossible to resist buying new books this year. Late at night when I'm procrastinating before sleep, my favourite thing to do is browse books online. Back at the end of 2014 I had a massive clear out of my bookcases in our living room, donating over 100 books to local charity shops. The idea was to make more room, have the bookcases a bit more organised (every last space was rammed with books!) and to make the place overall a little less cluttered. That didn't last long, because over the past few months the amount of books I've ordered has soon filled up all those spaces again!

Teapigs Morning Glory Everyday Brew

A picture of Teapigs Morning Glory Everyday Brew
It's no secret that I am a self-confessed tea addict, but I've always been a PG Tips kind of girl. Over the past two weeks I've swapped my daily cuppas of PG Tips and replaced them with Teapigs Morning Glory Everyday Brew. After a life-long obsession with PG Tips, have I been converted to Teapigs?

Tattooed Tealady is 3!

On April 3rd 2012 I sat down at my computer, created a Blogger account and wrote my very first post on Tattooed Tealady. 3 years down the line I'm still here, writing that very same blog. Where has the time gone?!

Max Factor Creme Puff Blush

A picture of Max Factor Creme Puff Blush

I am a big fan of baked blushes, but up until recently they were a product the UK beauty scene seriously lacked. A couple of high-end brands have some baked blushes on offer, but finding the perfect budget-friendly high-street baked blush was impossible. Max Factor have answered my baked blush prayers with the release of their new line, Creme Puff Blush, finally a high-street baked blush to fall in love with!

Spring ready lips

A picture of lots of lipsticks
I can't deny that I adore the darker, warmer shades of autumn and winter - but boy am I more than ready to get into spring time looks! Over the past couple of weeks I've been starting to change up my makeup looks to be more spring appropriate, and now we're officially in April I can't hold back any more - it's time to get the spring makeup out!
