The mini beauty haul

Few things make me as happy as buying gorgeous new beauty products. If you read yesterday's 'The Sunday Post #23 | Time to catch up' post, you'll know that on Saturday I went shopping for a well over due splurge, so of course, I had to share my mini beauty haul!

I actually managed to pick up quite a few beauty bargains as Debenham's were doing 10% off beauty products, so John Lewis did a price match also offering 10% off to match them!

The first thing I picked up is another Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipstick, £15.50, after becoming absolutely besotted with the formula and finish. I shared the Urban Decay Spring 2015 Collection over the weekend and I've worn all three shades featured in that post quite a few times now. The formula is gorgeous; much like the original Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick range, they glide on with ease and have a dreamy soft formula that feels comfortable when on. The Sheer range has one up on the original range, as it leaves my lips feeling nourished for longer - almost as if I have a balm on, but still with great colour pay-off. I picked up Sheer Obsessed, a lovely soft pink which is going to be perfect for spring!

My little splurge in John Lewis was actually unintentional (isn't that always the way?), as we were heading back to the car and obviously, we couldn't pass through John Lewis without checking out the beauty section. I can never resist the Bobbi Brown counters and as they were matching the 10% offer, I decided to pick up another Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Liner, £18, which is by far my favourite range for gel liners. I've been after a brown liner for a long time now so after getting some help from one of the lovely Bobbi Brown girls in picking the right shade for me, I went for Sepia Ink

Last but not least, I popped over to the Origins counter. Now the last thing I need is yet another moisturiser, but I've been getting through skincare a lot quicker recently trying to use things up and one of my absolute favourite must-have moisturisers for summer is the Origins GinZing Energy-Boosting Moisturiser, £23, which just makes my skin feel utterly incredible! I prefer the gel formula to the standard cream or lotion formula of other moisturisers and it effortlessly makes my skin feel more hydrated and softer to the touch. I'm keeping this one in the packaging for now, to help me resist opening it before I've finished up my current moisturisers, but I'm so happy to have this beauty back in my life!
