Lush Easter Collection 2015

A picture of Lush Golden Egg Bath Melt
If you're a big fan of Lush like me, then you've probably been awaiting the Easter Collection almost as much as those delicious chocolate Easter eggs you'll be devouring this Sunday! Like all Lush collections, this one is full of products for both bath and body, with gorgeous designs, delicious scents and a dash of limited edition goodness that'll leave you wanting to snap up the entire collection before it's sold out for another year.

Finished Reading | March 2015

A picture of lots of books
At the beginning of March I set myself a target of getting through four books (see here), and like February it's a target I smashed through finishing a total of seven books throughout March. It's time to review the books I read this month, and find out whether they're books I'd recommend you to read too!

A lipstick for everyday

A picture of Bobbi Brown Sheer Color Lipsticks
If you asked me to pick just one brand as my absolute favourite for high-end makeup, it would be Bobbi Brown without a doubt. Bobbi Brown is a brand I feature a lot here on Tattooed Tealady, a brand whose products never fail to impress me and whose formulas and quality far outdoes any other brands I have tried. There's something incredibly beautiful about Bobbi Brown products, with their simple yet bold packaging and stunning shade ranges with a colour to suit any taste. When it comes to quality, there really is nothing like Bobbi Brown.

The Sunday Post #27

The final weekend of March is here, and with April - and Easter - just around the corner, I have to admit I'm glad to be saying goodbye to March!

This Month's Favourites | March 2015

March has been a funny month. It's still cold like winter, but with the sun shining more and more each day, I've found myself wanting to turn to more spring-typical shades. I've spent much of March changing my look on a daily basis, not quite sure if it's time for brighter spring looks, but not wanting to stay in the dark hues of winter.

5 Brands for Individual Shadows

A picture of individual eyeshadows in a white rabbit jewellery dish
When I was younger I very rarely dabbled in eyeshadow palettes, now my favourite way to build up my eyeshadow stash, instead I had a makeup bag (or two) full of individual eyeshadows. Nowadays there's very few individual eyeshadows in my makeup collection, but the ones I do have are from a small selection of brands whose formulas and quality I adore.

Lancome Hypnose Mascara

A picture of Lancome Hypnose Mascara
It's not very often you'll catch me buying high-end mascaras, I think the high-street has some incredible mascaras on offer and so I'm usually swayed by the more purse-friendly options, but this one has me smitten.

Hello Gorgeous

A picture of Lush Hello Gorgeous Gift Set
I'm a sucker for Lush products, yet it's been years since I tried one of their gift sets. A great way to try a variety of products in one, I've been taking full advantage of the Hello Gorgeous Gift Set, featuring five deliciously scented and super pampering Lush best-sellers.

A lipstick revolution

A picture of Urban Decay Revolution and Sheer Revolution Lipsticks
I love lipsticks. Honestly, there's few things that make me feel as confident as applying lipstick and completing a look with a flash of colour. Whether that's a subtle nude or pink to flatter a bold eye, or something brighter and bolder to please the extrovert in me.

The Debate | High-Street VS High-End

A picture of high-street and high-end beauty products
As a blogger, I am always on the look out for the next 'amazing must-have' product, and I've lost count of how many products and brands I have dabbled in over the years. If there's one thing which I think splits not only beauty consumers in half, but the beauty blogging community itself, it's the question over whether high-street or high-end is better. Is high-street better because it offers affordable products? Does a higher price tag mean a better product? Should you avoid a brand because it's cheap? It's time to have a debate, high-street vs high-end...

Which mascara will you pick?

Earlier in the month I shared my thoughts on the March Birchbox, which has a pretty special feature for Birchbox subscribers in collaboration with Benefit.

Illamasqua Precision Brow Gel

A picture of Illamasqua Precision Brow Gel in Glimpse
For years now I have been in a long love affair with brow powders. For me, they were the easiest way to do my brows, and I never thought I'd love another type of brow product as much. That was until I tried the Illamasqua Precision Brow Gel.

A little book haul

A picture of books
If there's one thing I can't resist, it's buying books. Every single day I browse Amazon for new books to add to my bookcase or to add to my Kindle library. It's becoming a very expensive habit - but I'll never tire of falling in love with new books.

My favourite glosses

A picture of Bobbi Brown Lip Glosses
I am a big lover of lip gloss, but I wasn't always. I used to hate lipgloss - sticky, messy, always getting my hair stuck in it and that uncomfortable obvious feel on my lips. Lip gloss is definitely a love it or hate it product, but over the past couple of years I've managed to find some brands and ranges which I have come to really love, with one brand in particular.

Daniel Sandler Sculpt & Slim-Effect Contour Face Powder

A picture of Daniel Sandler Sculpt & Slim-Effect Contour Face Powder
A couple of weeks back I shared a wishlist of contouring, bronze and highlight products (see hereI had my eye on. I've been trying to find the perfect products for achieving a flawless contour and highlight for so long now, and over the months I've built up quite a list of products from rave reviews and recommendations that I wanted to try out for myself. Little did I know that the most perfect product for achieving a professional and natural looking contour and highlight would come from a brand I've barely dabbled in before. Introducing, the Daniel Sandler Sculpt & Slim-Effect Contour Face Powder

Laura Mercier Crème Brûlée Soufflé Body Crème

A picture of Laura Mercier Crème Brûlée Soufflé Body Crème
The Laura Mercier Crème Brûlée Soufflé Body Crème is one of the most talked about Laura Mercier body products I've ever come across. So much so, it's earned itself quite the cult status. But is it worth all the hype and rave reviews?

Drift off to sleep with Pukka Herbs

A picture of Pukka Night Time Tea
I have always had odd sleeping patterns. I'm a self-confessed night owl, always feeling more productive at night and for as long as I can remember I've always stayed up until the early hours of the morning. When I was younger I stayed up late with my head buried in books, in University I stayed up late because, well, that was the done thing to do in University, and now? I stay up late with my head buried in books.

Burt's Bees Tips and Toes Kit

A picture of Burt's Bees Tips and Toes Kit
I'm a big fan of Burt's Bees, a brand which harnesses the power of Bees with a huge range of cruelty free products, all of which are almost 100% natural. The Burt's Bees Tips and Toes Kit is perfect for anyone new to the brand, giving you a chance to try six of their products perfect for pampering everything from your feet to your lips, all in generous travel sizes which last ages

A Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Liner obsession

A picture of Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Liner
I'm one of those girls who has to wear eyeliner. I just don't think my makeup looks right without liner, and whether it's pencil, liquid or gel, my look isn't complete without it. Although I love pencil and liquid liners, the formula I find easiest to work with is gel, and my favourite brand for gel liners? Bobbi Brown, every single time.

Top 10 MAC Lipsticks

A picture of the top 10 MAC lipsticks
It's no secret I am a big fan of MAC lipsticks. Although there's a lot of both high-street and high-end lipsticks in my beauty stash which I adore, MAC still always comes out on top as my favourite.

Morning Skincare Routine | Winter Edition

A picture of Morning Skincare Routine | Winter Edition
My skin has been in pretty good condition over the past few months, with most of my skin woes being tackled by a dedicated skincare routine and most importantly - not switching about my products so often. As a blogger you always want to try the latest products and innovations, but it got to the point where I was always trialling something new and my skin was definitely getting fed up of it. Over the past few months I've decided that constantly changing the products in my routine isn't going to be beneficial for my skin in the long-term, and I needed to get a good routine down with products my skin adores, and stick to it.

Cargo Northern Lights Eyeshadow Palette

A picture of Cargo Northern Lights Eyeshadow Palette
I'm a sucker for a good palette. Eyes have always been my favourite way to experiment with makeup and eyeshadow palettes are the perfect way to indulge with the ability to create a whole ton of different looks. I've tried a couple of products from Cargo before, but the limited edition Northern Lights Eyeshadow Palette is my first dabble into their eye products.

Top brands for liquid lacquers

A picture of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tars, Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain and Smashbox Be Legendary Long-Wear Lip Lacquer
I can't be the only one who has become completely smitten with liquid lacquers. More often than not I reach for a liquid lip over a standard bullet lipstick, preferring the intensely opaque shades and long-lasting formulas that come with liquid lacquers. I've tried quite a few brands over the past year or so, ranging from the really budget high-street brands, to high-end brands with prices that make my eyes water. Some have been absolutely amazing - whilst others have lacked that oomph I look for in a liquid lip. These are my top three brands for liquid lacquers!

Reading in March

A picture of books by John Green, Carola Dunn, Jill Mansell and Veronica Ruth
Another month means another reading target. In February I set myself the target of reading three books and by the end of the month after catching the reading bug I managed to finish seven. It's tempting to set myself a big target for this month after devouring so many books last month, but I'm going to stick to achievable targets and so for March I'm giving myself four books I want to get through. These are the books I'll be reading this month!

The mini beauty haul

A picture of Origins GinZing Energy-Boosting Moisturiser
Few things make me as happy as buying gorgeous new beauty products. If you read yesterday's 'The Sunday Post #23 | Time to catch up' post, you'll know that on Saturday I went shopping for a well over due splurge, so of course, I had to share my mini beauty haul!

The Sunday Post #23 | Time to catch up

'The Sunday Post' was something I started at the beginning of 2014 and I actually really enjoyed writing them each week; that said my last The Sunday Post was way back in June 2014! Last summer I was completing my degree and my dissertation had completely consumed my life, I just didn't have as much time and so these posts just... stopped. I've been wanting to start them up again for quite a while now, so I thought now was better than never!
