Too Faced Candy Melted Lipstick

I love Too Faced products, but so far everything I've tried has been for cheeks and eyes. The Too Faced Melted Candy Lipstick is my first dabble into Too Faced lip products, a range which had me lusting as soon as it was released.

A liquid lipstick, Too Faced describe their Melted Lipstick range as a liquified long-wear lipstick. With a glossy finish, each shade is massively pigmented with amazing colour pay-off and comes in a beautifully designed squeezable tube with a soft angled applicator. On the lip Candy feels very comfortable; it's light-weight, but doesn't have that same 'tight' feeling that some liquid lipsticks can have once they set. I do find a lip-liner is an absolute must with this one, as although application is a breeze and the colour pay-off is intense, I do find it can bleed into fine lines a little and wearing a lip liner can help stop this.

Candy* is a super bold shade; a bright blue-toned pink. I manage to get a really long wear out of Candy before needing to reapply, which is massively helped by the staining element of the Melted Lipstick range. That said, I do find that it doesn't quite 'dry' like other liquid lipsticks and can leave tell-tale lipstick marks on mugs throughout the day. Blotting slightly with a tissue on application is one way to deal with the transferring, but then that slightly distracts from the lovely glossy finish it has when I don't blot!

Overall, I really love the formula, the colour pay-off and longevity of the Too Faced Melted Lipstick. I have my eye Violet, an intense looking purple, which I hope to add to my stash soon! At £19 it's not the cheapest liquid lipstick out there, but with 12ml of product it's set to last quite a while (I doubt I'll ever finish a full tube!).

Have you tried the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks range? I'd love to hear your thoughts on them - and whether you had transferring issues throughout the day too!
