February 2015 The Vegan Kind Box
16 February
Another month, another The Vegan Kind box! It's time to delve inside and see what treats are in the February box*...

The first thing which caught my eye - and got me super excited - was a box of Freedom Mallows Choc Dip, 62g £2.49. Freedom Mallows have featured in The Vegan Kind boxes before and not only are they absolutely delicious, but they actually taste way nicer than normal non-vegan marshmallows! A new product from Freedom Mallows, the Choc Dip is a gluten free and vegan chocolate and marshmallow dipping pot. Can't wait to have dig into this!
I've tried Spirulina balls before at an event and although at the time I'd never heard of them before, I was pleasantly surprised to find I quite liked them! There's a pack of two FitBites, 50g £2.30, inside the February box and I'm excited to be able to give these 100% organic, raw, natural and nutrient filled energy balls a go. With dates, apricots, almonds and coconut, I've no doubt they'll be super-tasty. Even better? 10% of all FitBites profits go to supporting active kids projects - love a brand that supports well-deserving charities!
A product I'm really curious about is the Supernutrients Banana Powder, 150g £4, which can be used in several ways; you can dust it over foods, particularly desserts, or add it to milkshakes and smoothies, from a British brand established in 2006 in Bath. I've never tried banana powder before, so I'm looking forward to trying this out!
Something that my other half snapped up and has already devoured (and made a point of telling me over and over again how delicious they were), was a bag of Eat Real Sour Cream and Chive Quinoa Chips, 80g £1.79, made using quinoa grains.
The final product inside the February box is a beauty product in the form of a White Rabbit Skincare Toning Eye Cream, 15ml £8. I've been giving this a try already over the weekend and boy is it lovely. A super hydrating and luxurious eye cream which has been freshly made by hand using the highest quality, natural and vegan-friendly ingredients, it's packed full of antioxidants, vitamins, Green Tea, Rosehip Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Chamomile and Carrot Seed Essential Oils. Lovely.
Alongside the five products featured inside the February box there's also a voucher for The Vegan Kind subscribers to snap up 25% off at www.beyondskin.co.uk, an ethical footwear brand, as well as the usual monthly recipe. As always with The Vegan Kind boxes, 10p from every box sold is being donated to the subscribers charity of choice - this month it's the Mino Valley Farm Sanctuary.
