My most-reached for palettes over the past few months have all been from theBalm. With some of the best pigmentation and nicest formulas you could ever find from a high-street brand, I'm forever raving about my favourite products from theBalm - a brand I think everyone should try!

theBalm Smoke Balm Eyeshadow Palette*, £10.60, is another fantastic slim compact palette with a handy mirror included, housing three shades perfect for creating an effortless smokey eye. There's even a handy how-to guide on the back which shows you how to create a classic smokey eye in three easy steps, including where to place each shade.

Flame is an incredibly beautiful champagne with shimmer finish that I have adored for teaming with the other shades in the palette, but also works really well as a simple wash of colour over the lids when I want a more simple look. It's great for an inner-corner highlight, too, and even works well on the brow bone when applied lightly.

Spark is a cool-toned, deep brown grey with matte finish and the pigmentation (as with all shades in this palette) is amazing! When I want a more everyday wearable look I love teaming this with Flame over the lid, and Spark blended through the crease. Subtle, yet enough to create a beautiful eye look.

Blaze is the darkest shade in the palette, a matte black with fine glitter. Great for blending through the crease for a really intense smokey eye, and with a light hand it also works well as a liner on both the upper and lower lash line.

Another winning palette from theBalm for me, will you be giving Smoke Balm a try?
