One of my favourite things to receive through the post each month is The Vegan Kind MonthlyLifestyle Subscription Box. For starters, you really can’t go wrong with delicious food being delivered to your door – and The Vegan Kind boxes always include delicious treats. But I also love the variety of products which The Vegan Kind includes in their boxes, and the first box of 2015 is no different!

The January 2015 box* includes delicious treats alongside a household essential, as well as the usual inserts with recipes, information on each product included and subscriber discounts. The recipe for the January box is a double-whammy with two recipes included on, both of which I can’t wait to give a try – homemade almond milk and brownies! As with each box, The Vegan Kind subscribers over on the Facebook page have nominated a charity to receive 10p from each box sold. This month The Vegan Kind are supporting the fab team at Veganuary, who help promote veganism globally with their January Veganary campaign. You can find out more about Veganuary over on www.veganuary.com

Now, let’s delve into the products inside the January box!

Hectares Sweet Potato Crisps, 35g £1
Hectares have featured in previous The Vegan Kind boxes and I've always enjoyed the flavours I've tried before. This month each subscriber will receive a packet of Sea Salt and Black Pepper. Made with Sweet Potato, which is one of my favourite treats (especially as fries!), they are packed with anti-oxidants, high in dietary fibre and contain Beta-carotene, Vitamin A and Vitamin C. Looking forward to tucking into these!

Power of... Superfoods Cereal Pots, 65g £2.29
A new breakfast range made from 50% super foods and 50% ultra-thin gluten free organic oats, each subscriber will be receiving a different flavour; mine is Strawberry, Goji and Beetroot! In a handy pot that you can both make the cereal and eat it from, it comes with a handy spoon and can be made with either hot or cold water. You simply add the water, place the lid on top, wait 20 seconds and then get stuck in! I love strawberries and goji berries, but I'm not the biggest fan of beetroot – but I'm looking forward to giving this a try, as it’ll make a nice change from my usual breakfast choices!

Greenfrog Soap Nuts, 250g £3.99
Another brand which has featured in The Vegan Kind boxes before, I'm quite excited to have a huge bag of soapnuts to do our laundry with! With enough soapnuts for 25 washes as well as a handy washing pouch, soapnuts are a natural way to wash your clothes free from any nasty chemicals which can be irritating to sensitive skin and eczema suffers. Both 100% natural and biodegradable, they’re a fab alternative to the usual supermarket offerings.

Pulsin Raspberry & Goji Raw Choc Brownie, 50g £1.79
The Vegan Kind boxes have made me a fan of Pulsin bars, and this one sounds delicious! A healthy snack bar with zingy berries and raw cacao, it’s rich in health-giving anti-oxidants, a great source of iron and protein, packed full of Vitamin C.

Clearspring 100% Organic Fruit on the Go, 100g 89p
Now this is a new one for me – I've never tried fruit purée before! Each subscriber will receive a Pear sachet, and this is probably the product I'm most excited to try from the January box! With fresh organic fruit, there’s no added concentrates, sweeteners, preservatives or artificial colourings/flavourings. Could this be the start of a new healthy-treat addiction?

Creative Natural Tropical Treat Bar, 38g 99p
Another healthy snack and the final product inside the January box is a detox bar with ginger and Pau D’Arco Herbal Tea. With nutrient-dense super food ingredients, each bar is cold-pressed to lock in nutrients, with vitamins and minerals for a healthy treat. Another one I'm looking forward to giving a try!

The Vegan Kind boxes cost £10 a month plus post and packaging. You can find out more about The Vegan Kind and subscribe on The Vegan Kind website.
