Although I’ll only ever dream of fitting into the clothes
range, I've been a big fan of Ted Baker and particularly the beautiful accessories
range for a few years now, forever lusting after the latest designs and
collections. Over the past couple of years I've seen more and more rave Ted
Baker beauty reviews and I've finally been giving some of the products within
the range a try after receiving a gift set at Christmas. After giving them a
try over the past week, I thought it was time to share my thoughts on this ever
expanding beauty range.
The set I received was the ‘Ted Baker Beau Box’, which is unfortunately now sold out, but came
presented in the most gorgeous box (which
has been up-cycled and now houses all my Yankee Candle votives and tarts!),
featuring four Ted Baker beauty products. The products included a 50ml Body
Wash, 50ml Bath Foam, 50ml Body Soufflé and a 50ml Body Spray.
The only product I've completely used up now, and so far my
favourite of the bunch, is the body soufflé. With a scent of Rose, Sandalwood
and Vanilla, I love the way this made my skin feel. Lighter in texture than a
body butter, but just as moisturising, it left my skin soft as silk. I will
definitely be checking out some of the full size moisturisers in the range
after trying this beauty out!
The body wash has a lovely fruity scent, with Rose,
Sandalwood and Raspberry. It lathers up so well, but also makes my skin feel
super soft after use – a nice theme with all the products featured in the set!
I've almost finished this one, and will definitely be considering a full size
repurchase as it’s a lovely scent for an awakening morning shower.
I haven’t indulged in the bath foam as much as the other
products, but I've given it a couple of tries and boy does this make a lot of
bubbles! With a scent of Bergamot, Red Fruit, Tuberose and Patchouli it’s sweet
yet deep and warming at the same time, perfect for indulgent hot baths.
The final product included in the set is one that I've been
using a lot over the past few days, and a perfect size for popping in my
handbag on the go. The body spray has the same lovely scent as the body wash;
Rose, Sandalwood and Raspberry, and although the scent doesn't linger as long
as a perfume, it’s lovely as a quick and easy everyday scent.
For my first dabble into Ted Baker beauty, I'm impressed.
I'm going to explore the range more next time I'm in store, but you can check
out the full range on the Boots website. I think the prices are really
reasonable for a brand name like Ted Baker, and I'm excited to see what other
scents Ted Baker has to offer!
Have you tried any Ted Baker beauty products before? Are
there any must-try products I should add to my wishlist? Let me know!
