If there's one thing Birchbox always get right, it's their collaboration boxes. For the December box* they've teamed up with accessories designer Sophia Webster. The box itself is beautifully designed with a pale duck-gg blue adorned with different colours, shapes and sizes of super pretty jewels. The collaboration doesn't stop there, with a product inside the December box being an exclusive from Sophia Webster. Let's get stuck in shall we?

The box itself isn't the only thing with a sparkle this month, with a Models Own Velvet Goth £5 nail polish in Amethyst. It's a gorgeous deep amethyst with chunky glitter, perfect for the festive season and any new years eve parties in your diary! Standing out from other glitter polishes, the Velvet Goth range which has five stunning shades, has a formula that provides a long-lasting matte finish.

Covering skincare, there's a Birchbox exclusive with the Eslor Firming Collagen Day Cream £50,  which is described as a plumping, ultra-hydrating day moisturiser infused with Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen. On first impressions, the scent is subtle, the formula is just the right consistency and it is pretty easy to massage into the skin. Not sure I'd stretch to £50 for a day moisturiser, but we'll see how I get on with this 10ml sample!

There's two makeup products inside the December box. One sample size, one full size. There was a cute little Benefit Christmas Cracker inside the box, and as I'm super impatient and could never dream of waiting until Christmas day, I opened it up to reveal a mini Benefit High Beam £19.50, which is another Birchbox exclusive! I've used High Beam before and it's one of those fail-safe liquid highlighters that is super easy to use. Very happy to have a sample of this in my stash again, especially as they last forever!

The full size product is an Eyeko Fat Eye Stick £8 in a very intense black with fine silver shimmer giving it a slight metallic look. Another Birchbox exclusive, you can pick up a set of three with the exclusive Eyeko Fat Eye Stick Trio.

One of my favourite products in the box is dreaded perfume sample, although I'm always happy to see perfume samples in boxes. Fragrances aren't cheap nowadays, so it's good to get a proper feel for a scent before committing to a bottle that will soon seem never-ending. The English Laundry Signature for Her £16-79 is absolutely beautiful. A sweet floral scent, there's notes of Rose Geranium, White Flowers, Chocolate and Jasmine.

For hair care there's a travel size Electric Hair Electric Hydrate Shampoo* £17.50, which promises to help repair damaged hair, whilst improving shine with a nourishing and moisture-rich formula. I haven't heard of Electric Hair before, so I'm interested to see how this fairs to my usual everyday favourites.

Last but not least, finishing off the Sophie Webster collaboration nicely is the final product and Birchbox exclusive of the December box, with a Sophia Webster Purse £10. Exclusively designed for Birchbox, the purse has a leopard print on one side, with a stripe design on the other and gold zip detailing. Actually really love this and it's going straight in my handbag as a handy coin purse!

What do you think to the Birchbox and Sophie Webster collaboration?
