Counting down to Christmas

Christmas just isn't Christmas without a chocolate advent calendar. I know there's a huge offering of beauty, candle and specific interest advent calendars available this time of year, but I'll always adore the traditional chocolate advent calendars more. Even from a small child, opening a new door each day to find your chocolate as you count down to Christmas, it's as much a part of Christmas for me as a Christmas tree.

This year my partner and I are completely indulging with our favourite chocolate brand, Lindt. With chocolates that are completely unbeatable (anyone else completely addicted to Lindor?), melting in your mouth as you have just one more, counting down to Christmas this year is going to be delicious!

This year I have the most amazing (and pretty darn huge) Adorable Lindt Bear and Friends Advent Calendar* £10, whilst my partner has the super festive Lindt Advent Calendar* £4.99. Both feature classic Lindt chocolate balls in milk and white chocolate, with bigger doors hiding bigger treats like miniature bears and Christmas reindeer. The Lindt Bear calendar houses a big Lindt chocolate bear for it's final door, whilst the festively designed Santa themed advent calendar has a Lindt Santa chocolate behind door 24. If only we could have these all year round!

If you haven't sorted your Christmas advent calendar out yet (or you fancy having more than one, because it's Christmas and that's totally OK), then you can find the Lindt advent calendars over on the Lindt website. They also have a huge sale on right now, which I plan on taking advantage of and stocking up on our favourite chocolates!

What are your favourite Christmas traditions?
