I love theBalm and I am so glad to see them getting more attention, rave reviews and fans over here in the UK! A brand I was first introduced to by some of my favourite American beauty YouTubers, theBalm became a brand I had to get my hands on. At the time, options were limited to taking the risk with ordering theBalm on Amazon
Forget James Bond, it's time to meet theBalm The Balm Girls (£12)! Introducing Amanda Kissmylips*, Mia Moore* and Mai Billsbepaid*! The colour pay-off with these lipsticks is fab, with neutral to intense shades effortlessly providing opaque colour in a flash; I always prefer wearing lip liners with lipstick, but these beauties could easily be worn alone. At first they are fairly firm for a lipstick, but after the first initial application the formula is creamy and glides on easily making application a breeze. Light-wear and very comfortable to wear, the longevity is pretty decent; I get a good few hours before needing to reapply, only sooner if I've eaten. Mia Moore is a gorgeous cherry red, perfect for a statement lip, Amanda Kissmylips is a deep, warm caramel brown and Mai Billsbepaid is a lovely warm-toned nude. With a demi-matte finish they're lovely for everyday wear - and can be easily spruced up with a gloss.
theBalm are currently included in the Superdrug 3 for 2 on cosmetics offer.
