Sometimes I can be reading several books in one go. I don't know why I can't just sit down and read one book from start to finish before starting a new book, but I've just always read a few books at the same time. As I've started to share some more book-related posts on the blog every now and then, I thought why not share what I'm currently reading, too? Especially as what I'm reading at the same time can sometimes really differ in genre. I'm cooking getting my head stuck into a good chick-flick, whilst thinking more about what I want for myself, my life and those around me, as well as soaking up as much beauty advice as possible from the latest Bobbi Brown beauty read.

Kiss Heaven Goodbye by Tasmina Perry is one of many books I bought earlier in the year, starting reading but after a few chapters forgot all about it. I've started reading Kiss Heaven Goodbye every night before bed to get through it, and like all Tasmina Perry books, I'm really getting into the ever-thickening plot. Following the story of privileged students on a private Island in the Bahamas, where a life-changing event occurs, following the secret of one fateful night as the years progress. I'm around a third of the way in so far, but I'll share a full review when I'm done.

The Four Agreements: Practical Guide to Personal Freedom (Toltec Wisdom) by Don Miguel Ruiz is one I spotted a lot of people talking about on Twitter a long, long time ago. Having finally got around to reading it, I'm excited to see what the fuss is all about. Looking into self-limiting beliefs and how to transform them to achieve a happier life, it's exactly the kind of book I love to read for a boost of positivity and a little nudge of encouragement.

Everything Eyes by Bobbi Brown has been a must-read for me recently, especially as I'm more happy to experiment with my eye makeup in the colder months. It's a great beauty book all about eyes (no surprise from the title), that would be perfect for newest of eyeshadow beginners all the way through to makeup experts. I've already picked up some amazing tips and tricks, and also changed my application techniques for the better because of this little beauty read.
