Over the past year my love for Benefit makeup has really grown, becoming a big fan of both their makeup and skincare range, they're a brand I often gravitate towards when near a counter or store. One of the latest launches from Benefit is the very popular Majorette Cream-to-Powder Peach Blush* (£23.50), presented in a super pretty round pot with magnetic close and compact mirror.

With a peach and pomegranate fragrance (very subtle, for those not a fan of scented makeup), Marjotte has been created to provide a natural looking blush with a healthy looking glow. I adore cream products, but formula wise I prefer cream-to-powder as I find the finish nicer and longer lasting with my oily skin. Benefit have really got the formula right with this one; soft and creamy to the touch that applies effortless and blends to a soft, almost velvet powder finish whilst feeling weightless on the skin. Peachy pink in shade, there's a slight (very slight) luminosity that creates that lovely natural looking glow, a shade when worn alone is probably better suited to the warmer months of spring and summer.

Still great as an all year round blush, it also doubles up well with pretty much any blush shade you can imagine, working as a base shade to give a more vibrant and enhanced look to your favourite blushes. My favourite combination is teamed with Benefit Hervana, using my Real Techniques Contour Brush to apply Majorette, with my Ecotools Bamboo Blush Brush for Hervana.

One of my favourite new releases from Benefit in 2014, Majorette is a really pretty blush that's a breeze to work with. I'd be great to see Benefit release more shades, as although Peach is a lovely shade it does have quite vibrant undertones, so it'd be nice to see a more everyday wearable shade in the same brilliant formula.

Have you tried Majorette yet, what do you think to the formula and shade?
