The Vegan Kind is the one thing that comes through our post that both me and my partner eagerly await for. It's become not just a box that I enjoy and find myself introduced to new brands from, but a box that my partner can't wait to devour as soon as it turns up (he hates having to wait for me to photograph it first!). The October The Vegan Kind box* is perfect for both of us this month, because it includes a delicious array of vegan friendly food-y products, as well as a little beauty sample treat for me!

The most delicious thing for me this month was the Landgarten Raspberries in Dark Chocolate (£1.79) which were just absolutely lovely with a hot cup of tea on these cold autumn nights. I managed to make the 50g bag last two nights, although I very easily could have eaten them all in one go! The contrast between perfectly ripe, flavourful raspberries with the rich, dark chocolate was amazing, always a fan of Landgarten products in The Vegan Kind boxes! I also loved the Nom Original Organic Oat Bar (£1.79) which I enjoyed this morning (again with a cup of tea) and found the coconut oil really made the texture much nicer than your standard supermarket oat bars.

I shared the Angelic Gluten Free Double Chocolate Cookies (£2.60) with my partner, who ended up eating most of them as although I liked the initial taste, I found the after-taste of the chocolate to be slightly more bitter than I like for cookies. Gluten and dairy free, they contain less fat for a light cookie, baked with rich cocoa and dairy free chocolate chips. He also enjoyed most of the Howdah Onion Bhaji (Pack of 6, £14.34) which were really full of flavour, but not something I could eat a lot of in one go.

There's a lovely sample-size beauty product included inside the October box is one I'm really excited to try, because it's the perfect time of year for more hydrating and moisturising products to protect my skin. The Premae Trumph Creme Balm (£51) promises to replenish and repair skin with a fortifying, rich moisturising cream with antioxidant, anti-ageing Vitamin A, C and K whilst being enriched with Frankincense. Looking forward to giving this a try!
