Aromatherapy Associates Revive Candle

A picture of the Aromatherapy Associates Revive Candle
There's something about the start of autumn, when the days are slowly getting darker and the leaves fall from trees as our hair gets battered by the wind (this is England, let's be realistic here), that just makes me want to hibernate. It's colder, wetter, your having to put your lights on earlier than you'd like (bills really are the worst thing about being an adult) and your heating is slowly being left on all day, instead of just a quick hour to warm the house every now and then. I want cosy food, cosy blankets and cosy nights in front of the telly; not the most productive way to spend autumn and winter though. With the darker nights comes the constant candlelight in our house, with beautiful scents filling our home that leave me feeling relaxed, calmed and serene.

Aromatherapy Associates Revive Candle* (£35) is my current go-to for keeping me feeling refreshed and revived despite the darker days, with an invigorating Citrus blend using essential oils of Grapefruit and Petitgrain. Like all Aromatherapy Associates products, the fine ingredients used to create this 100% GM free, high quality soy wax candle have been picked for their benefits to the mind and body. Presented in a beautiful white frosted glass with the Aromatherapy Associates gold logo, it burns for over 40 hours providing both a mentally and emotionally serene environment.

For those who aren't big on the strong scents, you'll be happy to hear that the Revive candle is definitely one of the easier scents to go for, as it's very fresh and uplifting, opposed to some of the more warm and heady scents available (which I also adore). The burn time is impressive and the high-quality ingredients make this one worth the price, but if I was to repurchase it would be reserved for days when I need a little help staying alert, as it's not one I could afford to replace regularly. I plan on up-cycling the gorgeous glass it's presented in once the candle is all burnt out, using it as a tea light holder which will create a lowly warming glow. For my first time trying Aromatherapy Associates candles, I'm really happy with the Revive candle and I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for any Christmas gift sets which include a candle, for friends and family.
