Rewind a year and there was no chance you'd catch me wearing an orange lip, but now orange is easily one of my favourite shades to wear. There's something about orange that just works, especially in the warmer months (although I'm no stranger to a bright orange hue in winter) Last week I shared my stash of nude lipsticks from MAC, and this week I'm delving into the three oranges in my MAC collection. One limited edition, two permanent, will you be tempted to try an orange lip?

Morange (Selfridges, £15) was the first orange lipstick I added to my stash, a shade I had adored from afar for a long time, spurred on to finally purchase after a fab review from the lovely Anna (Vivianna Does Makeup) For weeks, I wore it around the house too scared to brave the outside world with such a bright true orange. Now? It's one of my favourite shades. It's a shade that takes guts, but boy is it beautiful. With an Amplified finish, Morange glides on effortlessly, a true opaque colour that's comfortable on the lip.

Sounds Like Noise is the limited edition shade of my three orange loves, so unfortunately it's no longer available. Part of last year's Hayley Williams Collection, I just couldn't resist. A neon-pastel hybrid with a matte finish, Sounds Like Noise is a shade I can wear all year round. A touch of coral gloss on top, and we've got a winning lip colour right there!

Saigon Summer (Selfridges, £15) is one of my few MAC Cremesheen finishes, a shade I think would suit absolutely anyone of any skintone. A super subtle orange, it's light yet eye-catching, makes a lovely change from a nude lip and is a super everyday wearable shade. There's the slightest touch of fine shimmer running through Saigon Summer, which catches the light beautifully on a hot summers day, but no glitter-overload. If you have been tempted by oranges before but feel the brighter shades are just a touch too daring, Saigon Summer is the perfect starting shade.

Do you have a favourite orange lipstick? What's your favourite MAC finish?
