The new nail addiction

Soigne Persimmon Nail Lacquer

Soigna Persimmon Nail Lacquer

Summer is a couple of months off yet, but I think I've already found my summer-perfect polish. If you read my recent May Birchbox with Harper's Bazaar review, you might just recognise this new polish-favourite culprit. For my first dabble into Soigne Nail Lacquers (Birchbox, £11), I think it's safe to say I'm hooked, and I have my eye on pretty much every shade in the range. The range includes some gorgeous shades, including muted nudes, beautiful corals and bright, vivid pinks and oranges, in fact, there's not one shade I don't love the look of. In my May Birchbox, I received Persimmon, which is a gorgeous bright orange coral. From first use, it's been love.

Popping a coat of O.P.I Base Coat (LookFantastic, £11.95)) on first, I follow with two coats of Persimmon, which leaves a gorgeous streak-free finish. The polish itself is fairly glossy in formula, but I love really glossy nails and so I popped a touch of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat (CultBeauty, £9.95) on for the perfect finish. Regular readers will have seen Seche Vite pop up a few times over the past couple of months, a product I once really disliked and only starting using again to 'use it up', yet now I'm finding it the perfect top coat every time. Since adding some colour to my nails with Persimmon, they've lasted chip free for well over a week. I'm so thrilled that the longevity is fantastic as the formula, and Soigne has actually topped all other brands I've tried, for going chip-free the longest! Next on my wishlist, a gorgeous bright teal, Vodka Bleu, and a gorgeous deep violet purple, Cerise.
