Michael Kors Sexy Lip Lacquer in Bombshell

Michael Kors Sexy Lip Lacquer in Bombshell
With a title like that, I suspect a few of you would have been expecting a post with a gorgeous new watch or an expensive handbag. Unfortunately, designer fashion buys are a touch out of my price range, but when I can, I will explore a brand I like. When everyone started getting the blogger coveted Michael Kors Rose Gold Watches (Selfridges) a couple of years ago as luxurious gifts at Christmas and birthdays, I became smitten with this brand I had never come across before. I liked the watch, not enough to shell out the money for though mind you. I had my eye on a Vivienne Westwood watch for a good couple of years that I was determined to buy, and I now have! (with lots of saving, might I add) So with watches off-limits, I began to look through the rest of the Michael Kors range. I adore the chic handbag and accessories range, which manages to be simplistic, classic and unique effortlessly. I particularly love the Saffiano Leather Tote (Selfridges, £310) in black that is the perfect shape and size that I look for in a bag, and one I am seriously considering saving the pennies for. The Hamilton Saffiano Leather Wallet (Selfridges, £130) in black would be the perfect partner. One day...

Until then, what I can do is ooohhh and ahhh over the incredibly beautiful makeup range Michael Kors has released, a range I have shared before with my love for the Sporty Bronze Powder in Glow (Escentual, £34) Just before Christmas I decided to treat myself to a few beauty treats, and Michael Kors was at the top of my list. Escentual had just released their beauty range and I snapped up a Glam Nail Lacquer in Desire (Escentual, £15) which turned out to be a fantastic polish with a gorgeous vampy brown, as well as a Sexy Lip Lacquer in Bombshell (Escentual, £23) Occasionally I will buy a lipstick that fits this bill. The classic and chic gold packaging, the delicate embossing, the perfect packaging. I have a few lipsticks in my collection that are real favourites and ones I reserve for very special occasions, just like my mum used to do with her more pricey makeup. I have one which is the perfect nude, two perfect reds, I wanted something different and so I opted for this delightfully bright fuchsia. Not just any fuchsia, Bombshell has a dreamy sheer and light-weight formula that can easily be built up for more impact, with the tiniest yet most flattering irridescent shimmer. Enriched with moisturising Shea Butter and Vitamin E, it feels comfortable and hydrating and with good longevity, you need only touch up after eating and drinking. I have a feeling Bombshell will be one of my most reached for Summer shades...
