TheVeganKind March box

I have spent the past few days eating, and cleaning, my way through the March TheVeganKind box*, or #TVK5 for all you tech-savvy readers! Since introducing TheVeganKind onto the blog last year, they have been a monthly feature and a box I always look forward to receiving. Having been impressed by every single box, without fail, TheVeganKind is my favourite monthly surprise. This month is no different, with a tasty and interesting contents that has definitely been put to good use. For those new to TheVeganKind, or lifestyle boxes in general, let's give you a quick run-down! Unlike monthly beauty boxes, TheVeganKind is the first and only lifestyle subscription service for vegans and everyone in-between. The boxes always carry a fantastic variety of lifestyle, beauty, food and home products, all of which are 100% vegan friendly, and each month TheVeganKind also donate proceeds from the boxes, to animal charities chosen by TheVeganKind customers! A fantastic, ethical and caring lifestyle box which costs just £10 a month. Find out more on

The first thing I spotted in the March box was a product from a brand which has previously been featured in TheVeganKind boxes, and one I have grown to quite like. Green Frog Natural Washing Up Liquid (NaturesHealthBox, 500ml, £1.69) uses the super soft and natural cleaning power of Soapnuts, infused with Lemon and Neroli essential oils. SLS-free, eco-friendly, bio-degradable all with a lovely plant and mineral based formula. It smells lovely, and it came with perfect timing as our usual washing up liquid had just run out! An essential in the home, and for the size, much more purse-friendly than non-vegan brands.

Next up to catch my eye was a pretty big packet of Flavour Magic Harrisa Powder (Flavour Magic, £3) which is a spicy blend with the kick and heat of spices that I adore, with a soft floral, mint infusion. It's pretty much perfect for any kind of meal, hot or cold! I'm really excited to give this a go and will be seeking some delicious online Harrisa Powder recipes out as soon as possible! I love trying something new, and although I've had meals out with Harrisa as the key ingredient, it's not a spice I've ever personally cooked with before.

I was pretty excited when I spotted the Saf Express Raw Coconut Cookies (SafExpress, trio bag, £4.29) which were so, so yummy. A pack of four indulgent raw coconut cookies, each with their own flavour; plain, mint or berry. Made using Beckwheat, Coconut Flakes, Agave, Cacao Nibs, Vanilla Extract, Himalayan Pink Salt, Coconut Oil and Raisins, I could have eaten bag after bag of these! Slightly firm, you need to take a good bite out of them and they'll give your jaw a little workout. But so worth it for how tasty they are, a delicious snack!

The delicious food treats keep on coming with the March box and I was really excited by the On the Pulse Hot Chicks Jamaican Jerk Spicey Roasted Chickpeas (OnthePulse, 45g, £1) I'm no stranger to roasted peanuts and chickpeas are often a regular in my diet, in the addition of humous. But I've never actually had roasted chickpeas before, so I was eager to dig into these! Incredibly tasty, much lighter than peanuts, my partner and I finished these in no time!

The final tasty treat in the box a bar of Beond Organic Raw Chocolate Brownie (PulsinBeond, case of 18, £7.94) which went down perfectly with a nice cup of tea last night. Vegan friendly, dairy and gluten free with no added sugar, no trans fats and no GMO, this delicious brownie is made with 100% natural ingredients and has the most true taste of proper chocolate. Definitely looking into getting more of these!

I'm really happy with the March box and my favourites were the brownie and coconut cookies, without a doubt! I can't wait to see what April's box brings...
