Lily Lolo Classics & Metallics Collection

Having been awed by it's arrival on my doorstep, I am super excited to bring you four pieces from the new and stunning Lily Lolo Classics & Metallics Collection*. I am so impressed with the collection, from the beautiful sleek, chic and simple white packaging to the absolutely stunning shades and beautiful formulas - this is one collection you cannot pass up! Lily Lolo has featured on the blog before and I am a big fan of their products as well as their ethics and brand ethos; Lily Lolo is a British brand whose products are free from parabens, perfumes or dyes and they are completely cruelty free - being BUAV approved! Lily Lolo cater to makeup lovers with all skin types and their products are suitable for even the most sensitive of skin types.

Lily Lolo Honey Glow Shimmer Strips* (Lily Lolo*, £19.99) & Rose Glow Shimmer Strips* (Lily Lolo*, £19.99) - I've used a lot of 'shimmer strips/bricks' before but I have to admit, the Lily Lolo ones have stolen my heart. Rose Glow is my favourite of the two because the overall look is very similar to my favourite MAC MSF in Lust. Each of the shades can be used individually but I prefer using them all lightly blended together for a beautiful iridescent rosey glow. Honey Glow is just as beautiful, although I see this being more of a favourite next spring and summer as that's when my bronze shades really come out to play! This is gorgeous for a touch of golden highlight on your cheekbones and I have also loved using some of the shades individually for eyeshadows. Each shimmer strip has been made with a velvet soft pressed powder formula, comes with a handy compact mirror and is fragrance and talc free. I find these apply best with my Real Techniques Contour Brush, lightly brushed over the areas I want to highlight. Although shimmer strips, when on the shimmer isn't too over-powering and looks delicate and provides the perfect amount of shimmer to catch the light in all the right places.

Lily Lolo Molten Bronze Eye Shadow Quad* (Lily Lolo*, £18.99) & Smoky Rose Eye Shadow Quad* (Lily Lolo*, £18.99) - These two stunning quads genuinely took my breathe away when I saw them, with some of the most stunning shade combinations I have come across in quads - these have been a regular feature in my daily makeup routine. With the same sleek, chic and compact packaging as the shimmer strips, these also have a fab handy compact mirror and also come with a dual-ended eyeshadow applicator. Of the two, Smoky Rose is my favourite - the shades are just so perfect for this time of year and the variety of looks you can create is great for making this a travel friendly palette, too. Molten Bronze has a beautiful peach shade, lovely for all over the lid, a gorgeous antique gold, perfect for a pop of colour in the center of your lip and I love using the bronze for the crease along with the more dark and sultry shimmer packed dark brown/black shade, which is also lovely as a liner. Smoky Rose has a gorgeous pearl white shade that is gorgeous in the inner corner or lightly swept across your brow bone for a highlight and along with the pale taupe and dusty rose, I've loved creating day-time appropriate looks, and using a bit of the rich, matte brown shade at night to transform my look from day to night. Each applies and blends beautiful, with no risk of fall out and so very long lasting - I'm massively impressed!
