Last week everyone was lusting after the NARS and Hourglass limited edition palettes, but they just didn't catch my eye enough to make an order. Instead I popped over to the Bobbi Brown website and realised how many things I wanted from Bobbi Brown, and I placed a cheeky little order.
Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow in Sandy Gold (Bobbi Brown, £18.50) - I've shared my thoughts on the Long-Wear Cream Shadows before when I reviewed the limited edition Navy & Nude collection. These are just a dream and I've been using Suede from the Navy & Nude collection almost every day. I wanted to pick up another because I find them lovely when used alone, but incredible as bases too and they are a million times better than both my MAC Paint Pots and my Maybelline Color Tattoos. Sandy Gold is a beautiful shade that had me besotted from first use; the colour of sand with the warmth and sparkle of true gold and a fine shimmer, just beautiful! I wore it on Saturday night to a house warming and the way it opened up and brightened my eyes was just perfect! With a smooth, creamy formula these babies are long lasting and easy to both apply and blend. Cream shadows which are 100% worth the investment.
Bobbi Brown Limited Edition Nail Polish in Pink Pearl (Bobbi Brown, £11) - This was a spur of the moment buy and I never realised that Bobbi Brown do polishes - although it seems the ones they currently have, are all limited edition. I just popped this on my nails for the first time last night, so except a little post later this week on what I think to this gorgeous, delicate and girly shade.
Bobbi Brown Limited Edition Lip Colour in Old Hollywood (Bobbi Brown, £22) - This lipstick, this beautiful, gold cased, special and very much so limited edition lipstick was the sole reason for my order in the first place, and I am smitten. From the limited edition Old Hollywood collection (which by the way, has some incredible pieces I am in serious lust over) Old Hollywood is the perfect red. The case is just stunning and it's like no other lipstick I own. The formula is true to Bobbi Brown lipsticks and if you read my recent review on the Bobbi Brown limited edition Rich Chocolate collection then you will know I'm a recent convert to Bobbi Brown lipsticks. Old Hollywood is a beautiful, bright orange toned red lipstick which is highly pigmented. I just can't get over how gorgeous the packaging is, such a stunning shade.
So that's my little Bobbi Brown haul and I love everything I picked. Bobbi Brown is a real favourite brand of mine and I cannot recommend them enough. They are worth the splurge, the products are so worth the investment and I've never been disappointed by a Bobbi Brown product before. Even better, I was thrilled with the service on the Bobbi Brown website; free delivery on all orders and any orders over £50 included three deluxe samples. I picked an adorably cute lipgloss sample, a mascara sample and a 'cosmetic bag' sample. I thought the bag would be teeny, when it's actually a huge, gorgeously made faux leather rose gold cosmetics bag embossed with the Bobbi Brown logo. It's stunning! I've never received such amazing free samples with an order and I will definitely be sticking to the Bobbi Brown website from now on when I decide to treat myself!
