Where would we be, without the bees?

The Body Shop Honeymania

There was no way I could let the Honeymania range pass me by. I love honey. I love eating honey, I love the scent of honey, I love the colour of honey. Honey is a very likeable thing. So put the scent of the purest, finest honey and mix it with The Body Shop, whose body products are incredibly indulgent, and you have a range I was besotted with before I'd even tried it. I knew this was going to be a big love range for me, and it hasn't let me down. So much so, I've ordered another product from the range! Today I am going to be sharing my thoughts with you on the Honeymania Body Butter* (The Body Shop*, 200ml, £13) and the Honeymania Body Scrub* (The Body Shop*, 200ml, £12.50)

Honeymania Body Scrub - This is actually the first body scrub I have tried from The Body Shop and the subtle yet dreamy scent of honey makes a real pampering treat when you use this to buff your skin to smooth perfection. It's gently buffs away any dead skin cells, leaving your skin feeling softer and smoother. It's easy to use in the bath or the shower (although I personally prefer using scrubs in the shower) and you don't have to worry about your skin being left sensitive or sore, as it's a super gentle scrub.  I love teaming this with the Honeymania butter, and using them both for a proper mid-week pamper, when my energy (and motivation) levels are low and I need a bit of a soothing boost. This is perfect for that and I am now lusting after several other scrubs in different scents!

Honeymania Body Butter - The Body Shop is always adored for it's body butters and there's a huge scent range available to choose from. The Honeymania range, unsurprisingly, is honey scented and contains Community Fair Trade Honey. The scent isn't too sickly sweet, in fact it's fairly light and delicate and that's due to the bees whose honey feature in the ingredients, have been making their sweet scented honey from the nectar of thousands of wildflowers. It has the usual soft, creamy, sumptuous formula as all of The Body Shop butters and comes in the usual 200ml pot, easy to use, no mess, no fuss. I love how thick these butters are, but not so thick they pull on your skin or take ages to sink in.

I've really enjoyed using these products and I already have the Honeymania Bath Melt (The Body Shop, 300ml. £8) on my wish list after spotting it in store and deciding it seems like the perfect pampering bath product for the colder months ahead. If you've tried any of the Honeymania range, I'd love to know your thoughts. A few of the products in the range are going to make perfect Christmas presents - and even better, this scrumptious new scent range is permanent to The Body Shop ranks, so you don't have to worry about it being limited edition and missing a chance to give it a go!
