Illamasqua Beg and Bronzerella Blusher Duo

When Illamasqua released their blusher duos back at the beginning of the year, I was completely drawn in by how beautiful the shade combinations were. Illamasqua blushes are easily some of my most treasured blushes. The pigmentation, in all of Illamasqua's products, is phenomenal and they have more power to them than any other brand I've tried. Their products are full of true colour, amazing pigments and incredibly long lasting. There's three blusher duos available from Illamasqua and I've shared my thoughts before on the Illamasqua Lover and Hussy blusher duo; a blusher duo I lusted after for months and couldn't resist splurging on. Lover and Hussy are the perfect Spring and Summer shades. Today I am sharing my thoughts on another blusher duo; Beg and Bronzerella*.

When I first saw the shades on Beg and Bronzerella, I have to admit, I was a little intimidated. I don't own many truly deep, dark and warm blushes and the closest I have to a Winter blush is my Sleek Pomegranate blush. Beg and Bronzerella would actually be a fantastic Summer blush on darker skinned beauties, but for me, these shades are deep enough to be perfect for the colder months ahead. A matte finish blush, Beg is a dusty rose pink which has more warmth to it than my usual peachy pinks that I have relied on in the warmer months. The shade itself is stunning and once blended in, it's far less intimidating than it looks in the pan. It's warming on my cheeks and perfect for adding a bit of definition if I sweep across my cheeks opposed to just a pop of colour on the apples of my cheeks. Super soft in formula, I love how easy it was for me to get to grips with this shade. A light hand, some subtle blending, and the result is stunning.

Bronzerella is a bit more out there, with a fine shimmer finish, this shade is truly stunning; a warm copper shade with rose gold undertones. Bronzerella took me a little longer to get used to, but now that the weather has said goodbye to Summer and welcomed Autumn in, Bronzerella is the perfect shade for a pop of colour. A true multi-tasking shade, I really love Bronzerella for how versatile it is. As well as being the perfect finishing touch to a look by applying Bronzerella to the apples of my cheeks, I like the slightest dusting of this as a highlight, and particularly, used as an eyeshadow in the center of my lid to transform a look.

Illamasqua blushes never let me down and if you haven't tried them before, I can highly recommend them. With an impressive shade range, bold packaging and impressive formulas, they are some of my most favourite. If you want a blush that really does deserve every last penny - Illamasqua is the brand to turn to. And I know I will be turning to Beg and Bronzerella a lot now Autumn is finally here.
