Instead of a Beauty Box # 6

I didn't get a chance to post my Instead of a Beauty Box # 6 post in June, so you are going to get two in July! Today's Instead of a Beauty Box product is a product I bought quite early in June and one I have really enjoyed using. So much so I went and picked up three more for my June International Giveaway. Be sure to enter if you'd like a chance to win your very own Sleek Limited Edition Sweet Cheeks Blush by 3 Palette!

So my budget for these posts has always been £11.95. If you aren't sure what these posts are all about then you might want to check out my Instead of a Beauty Box # 1 post! This month I decided it was a perfect excuse to add some more blushers to my collection and with this gorgeous limited edition Blush by 3 palette from Sleek, how could I resist? Unlike Sleek's other Blush by 3 palettes which contain all powder blushes, the Sweet Cheeks palette contains two powders and one cream blusher. I'm a big fan of the Sleek Blush by 3 palettes and I think Lace is a palette everyone needs in their collection! Sweet Cheeks is no different; it's absolutely stunning with a gorgeous selection of pink and lavender shades which might look a bit risky in the palette, but are beautiful on. It's a shame it's a limited edition palette, as I can see this selling out quite quickly and I know it's already hard to find in-store!

You can't beat the price of Sleek for the quality you get. By far one of my favourite brands on the high-street for blushes. The Sleek Blush by 3 palettes cost £9.99 but don't let the price make you doubt the quality. Sleek blushes are incredibly pigmented, with amazing colour pay off, gorgeous formulas that are easy to use and they are incredibly long lasting. There's three different finishes for each of the different shades in the palette. Cupcake is the only cream blusher in the palette and is a soft, bubblegum pink. The formula is slightly thinner than other cream blushes I am used to, such as the Bourjois cream blushes, but it's very easy to apply and blend and the colour is really long lasting too, just like the powder blushes. Dolly Mix is a matte shade and it's a very pink toned lavender. Of the three shades in the palette this is the one I was most nervous to try but I actually find it an incredibly flattering shade. Who knew lavender would be such a beautiful pop of colour? The final shade in the palette is Candy Floss which has the slightest shimmer running through it. All of the shades are easy to wear, long lasting and packed full of colour. Like with all Sleek blushes, a little goes a long way and I don't doubt that this palette is going to last me a long, long time! Cupcake is also the very first cream blusher that Sleek have made, and let me tell you - I hope they bring out an exclusively all cream Blush by 3 palette soon!
