Top 5 April

1 May 2013

Sorting out my April favourites has been a bit hectic this month. With April being such a busy month, I didn't even think about what I wanted to share with you all as my Top 5 for April. But after a quick rummage through my most used products in April, I've picked a Top 5 which really reflects the products I've enjoyed using the most throughout April!

When MAC announced the Hayley Williams limited edition collection, I was drawn in straight away. Not just because I am a fan of Paramore (the band that Hayley Williams fronts) but because of the colour theme. Orange. Bright, vivid orange. So as soon as I saw that the collection was online I ordered the lipstick, Sounds Like Noise, straight away! I have been really loving this lipstick. It's bright, it's vivid and the colour pay off is amazing. A welcome addition to my collection! You can find it on the MAC website, the only place it is available as it is not in store, and it costs £14! Unfortunately it's currently sold out, but keep an eye out in case they stock more! Another lip product I've adored this month is the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors. I recently reviewed these so you can get a more in-depth opinion on what I think to them in my review, but these are definitely a must-have for me at the minute, and I am never without one on hand! The Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors retail at £17 each!

Hair care wise a product I have not used for a while but I have reached for again and rekindled my love for in April, is the Bumble and Bumble Hairdressers Invisible Oil. I've also reviewed this before, which you can read here. It's just a fab little product which makes my hair feel and look healthy, naturally smooth and shiny and has kept my hair tamed and under controlled now that we're getting a few bursts of sunny, warm days! A 100ml bottle costs £30!

I've been trying to use up sample sizes of products over the past couple of months and one type of product I am getting through quickly in sample sizes is a day moisturiser! This month I've been trying out the Origins Plantscription SPF25 Anti-Aging Cream. A luxurious moisturiser, I have been using this in the mornings and it's left my skin soft, supple and ready to face the day! I will be doing a more in-depth review soon, but you can find it on the Origins website and a full sized 50ml tub costs £46.

Finally, the last product I have ordered this month which has made it into my Top 5 is the Lush Fair Trade Foot Lotion. This is a recent purchase and I will be reviewing it in full here on the blog very soon, but let's just say this has made my feet ready for flip-flop weather and the sunny days ahead! You can find it on the Lush website and a 225g tub costs £8.95!

So that's my Top 5 for April! What five products have stood out for you this month? Have you tried any of these products? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
