Thanks to the lovely Anna from Vivianna Does Makeup raving so much about Origins makeup, it became top of my lust list to try! As a huge, huge fan of Origins skincare, I was super intrigued by the Origins makeup range and had heard such great things, I knew they'd be perfect before I even tried them!

The Origins Plantscription SPF15 Foundation comes in a huge range of eleven shades. I've been trying out 'light/medium cool'. An anti-aging foundation with Anogeissus delivers an instant age rewinding and pore correcting finish, with an SPF15 which helps prevent the signs of aging. Anogeissus is a sacred tree found in The Republic of Ghana and the extract of Anogeissus known as 'Siiga', which means 'the soul', is derived from the leaves and bark of the Anogeissus tree and used as a natural wound healer and antimicrobial - perfect for anti-aging! I find this is the perfect foundation for everyday use. It has a light-medium, but easily buildable coverage. And it leaves a beautifully natural 'my skin but better' finish. It has a super light consistency, but I find it very easy to blend using either my beauty blender dupe or my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. Although I wouldn't chose to use this for an evening or night out, it's perfect for day-time use! You can find it on the Boots website here and a 30ml tube costs £29.50.

I love the Plantscription foundation, but I adore the Plantscription Anti-aging concealer! Another product with the star ingredient of Anogeissus, it helps to cover dark circles plus reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and flaws instantly. A creamy concealer, it covers a multiple of sins, is easy to blend and gives a perfect coverage. It doesn't crease, cake or stick and is super long wearing. This concealer is an absolute dream! You can find it on the Boots website here and it costs £17.

For my first time trying Origins makeup, boy am I impressed! Have you tried anything from Origins before? Is there anything you want to try? Let me know!
