Clarins Instant Smooth Self Tanning

Last month I shared with you my thoughts on the Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch, a product I really love. Today I am going to be sharing my thoughts on a product which is just that touch better, and one which is firmly placed in my heart of makeup favourites.

The Clarins Instant Smooth Self Tanning has the same wonderful benefits of the Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch, with both skincare and makeup combined, but with one extra special ingredient. This silky, lightweight mousse melts into your skin for quick and easy application, making lines and enlarged pores instantly smoothed. It leaves you with a radiant natural glow, and the more you use it, it builds to a more subtle healthy glow with a touch of tan.

This is beautiful on so many levels. Firstly, the smell. It smells so yummy! It kind of makes me think of caramel, but with a really fresh scent too! (I am forever rubbish at describing scents!) The texture is heavenly soft and light, like a really soft, lightweight mousse. I thought I might end up needing a lot of this each time I use it but I don't. A pea sized amount is more than enough for my whole face. The thing I love about this the most is the effect it has on my skin tone. I have quite an uneven complexion with darker pigmentation in some places. This evens out my skintone so, so much, whilst also giving me a nice, natural glow. Overall, this product has given me confidence when going makeup free. I no longer worry about the pigmentation differences in my skin, because this covers them beautifully and makes my skin look beautifully healthy. It's really helped with my confidence! So thank you Clarins for that, as the pigmentation issues on my face have been a real issue for me for years!

You can find this on the Clarins website here and a 30ml glass pot costs a very reasonable £18. A definite repurchase!
