Urban Decay The Vice Palette

Urban Decay The Vice Palette
I am a big fan of Urban Decay eye-shadows and I spent weeks and weeks lusting after this beautiful palette containing 20 beautiful shades. I probably bored a lot of you over on Twitter, constantly mentioning how much I wanted it! Well, as you can probably tell, I took the plunge and I bought it! I just couldn't resist. Knowing it was limited edtion, I wanted to get it before it sold out, because the thought of not getting my hands on it was quite frankly, just not an option! The palette itself costs £42 and I bought mine from House of Fraser as they have quite reliable and quick delivery!

Urban Decay The Vice Palette

The Vice palette contains 20 shades, each generously sized for such a palette. All of the shades in the palette are new and never seen before shades. It has a mix of finishes ranging from mattes and satins, to shimmers, neutrals and brights. The colour range is so vast, you could use this palette every day the whole year round to create any look you ever wanted. It's one of those palettes that could be someone's entire eye-shadow collection, because it just has everything you could possibly want or need! The palette itself comes in a very stury, sleek purple soft to the touch case, which is topped with a jewellery Urban Decay icon. It's really beautiful! It also comes with a huge mirror and a double ended Karma shadow and crease brush. This is probably the most perfect palette you come ever add to your collection!

Wear wise, I am just utterly in love with this palette. There's a few shades which can take a tiny bit more work than I would like, such as Nose and Provacteur, which seem to be more glitter than eye-shadow, but once you find a way to make them work. I found using them with just a slightly damp brush solved the problem! All of the other shades are perfect. The pigmentation is amazing, the colours really pop and stand out. The formula is lovely and typical of that of Urban Decay shadows (so basically, a dream!) The lasting power is also beautiful, especially when teamed with my Urban Decay Primer Potion. I know to some people this will be just an eye-shadow palette, but to me it's kind of precious. It has every shade, every finish you could want. It has so much variety, it's so versatile and it's just utterly beautiful.

Do you think the Vice palette is a palette you'd like to add to your collection? What is your favourite palette?
