If you have been following my blog a while you will know that I was so in lust with these Revlon Kissable Lip Balm Stains, and devastated that they weren't available in the UK. Everywhere I looked on the blogosphere and on YouTube, American beauty bloggers and gurus were raving about these soon to be dubbed, Clinque Chubby Stick dupes. I wanted them, badly. Then much to my own and every other beauty obsessive in the UK's happiness, Revlon launched them in the UK. And oh joy, I was still doing my 100 Day Challenge, so even now they were in the UK, I couldn't buy them! Then I saw more and more reviews, from British girls, and it did nothing to help my lust and need for this beauties.

The Revlon Kissable Lip Balm Stains come in a range of seven shades in the UK. I have Rendezvous, a gorgeous orange coral shade, Cherish, a subtle bright pink shade, Lovesick, a deep bright pink shade and Romantic, a deep red shade. But what exactly are they? The Revlon Kissable Lip Balm Stains are a "pampering balm fused with a lightweight lipstick in an adorable chubby crayon." There's no denying these definitely have a crayon like look to them, and the first time I used one it felt insanely weird applying it. When I first got them all I thought Lovesick would be my favourite and most worn shade, but it is in fact Romantic I reach for the most. They are just so incredibly easy to apply. They have a slight minty scent to them, which I know hasn't been a hit with a lot of people. But I quite like it. The scent does disappear after a while though so don't worrying if minty scents aren't your thing - it doesn't stick around. They glide on easily, are quite moisturising and I haven't had any drying problems when using these; my lips stay soft and moisturised all day long. The colour is noticeable from one application, but it's also really build-able and that's why I love Romantic, as well as Rendezvous, because on first application both shades are quite sheer but can easily be built up.

The colour also sticks around all day, which is what you want in any colour! But I also find them easy to remove when I'm ready; a quick swipe with my Bioderma on a cottan pad gets the colour off no problem! They are self-sharpening products, too. Which basically means they twist up. Each time the stick itself is running low, simply twist up and you have more! When you look at them, as they are quite long, you'd think the product filled the tube but it actually doesn't. There is about one and a half inch of product in each one when new, but that's still enough to last you a hell of a long time because of the way these are made. I just adore them. They are everything I expected and wanted them to be and I hope they bring out more colours in the UK range. I also want to pick up the remaining three shades in the UK line, to have a full set. Do I think these are worth the hype? Hell yes! I adore them, and I often find myself reaching for them over my lipsticks nowadays. They are also perfect for on the go because you only have to touch up if and when you want. You don't have to worry about them smudging or getting lipstick on your teeth. They are fuss free, moisturising colour! You can find these glorious lip wonders on the Boots website, here, and they retail at £7.99 each.
