I was first introduced to Ginvera when I received a sample of their Green Tea Nude BB cream in the June She Said Beauty box. The Ginvera BB cream is by far the best BB cream I have ever used and once I have used up the BB creams I currently have, I will be purchasing the full sized version as I really loved it! I was recently sent the Ginvera Green Tea Whitening Complete Cleanser to try out and review, and it came the same time as She Said Beauty included a sample of a Ginvera product I had much been lusting after, the Green Tea Exfoliating Marvel Gel, in the September box. So I thought it'd be a perfect opportunity to review both of the Ginvera products in one go!

You will have seen the Exfoliating Marvel Gel in my September empties post (which you can read here) and I really enjoyed using it. I had been lusting after it for a while, having heard great things about it, and after falling in love with the BB cream I just had to try it! So I was chuffed to see a sample of it in the September She Said Beauty box! It promises ten amazing effects; removes blackheads painlessly, stimulates skin metabolism leaving skin looking younger, refines pores and reveals finer, smoother skin, fades pigmentation spots and acne scars, removes oil seeds around the eye area, regulates and balances oil secretion preventing pimples, evens out skin tone to give skin clarity, dull and rough skin becomes smoother and fairer, softens the cornified layer and gently removes dead skin cells and finally, allows rapid and instant penetration of skin care products. That is one long list of promises, right? As you can guess from the name it is a gel product, with a light green colour. You simply massage a small amount in to your face and as you do, you will find it clumps and flakes up. There is no denying that this leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and for that it's a great exfoliator. But. My blackheads are on my nose and I just found it very difficult to use on my nose! A full sized 60ml tube of this costs £22. I like this, but as I use exfoliating products for blackheads and pores, and found it difficult to use on the areas where that is a problem for me, I'm not sure I'd buy the full sized.

I was really excited when the Whitening Complete Cleanser arrived and I was chuffed to be able to try it out as if you haven't guessed by now, I really like Ginvera! The Whitening Complete Cleanser provides a fine foam which cleanses the skin of dirt, makeup and excess oil. It leaves your skin feeling hydrated, cool and refreshed and the gentle formula is mild and soothing to the skin, leaving the skin nourished whilst also cleansing the skin, leaving it healthy and radiant. To use you simply work a small amount in to a lather and massage gently on to moist skin before rinsing off. This is a very thick cleanser, in fact it's probably the thickest cleanser I've used, which can make it a little bit hard to squeeze out of the tube. That said, although it is thick, you literally need a pea sized amount of this for your whole face. For me, it doesn't really lather or foam. But it does work to get off all of my makeup, and daily dirt and grime. First I will use it whilst my face is only slightly damp and really work it in, then I will wet my fingers and work it in more massaging it in really well and it becomes a more milky cleanser which really gets everything off! It's so lovely, really, really gentle and great for my oily skin. So a winning product! A full sized 100g tube of this costs £12.95.

Have you tried Ginvera before? What's your favourite Ginvera product?
