The Lanolips 101 Ointment is advertised as the ultimate luxuriously creamy ointment, that contains 100% pure grade lanolin, which "literally melts between your fingers." A multi-purpose product, this can be used for extremely chapped lips, dry cuticles, dry, itchy skin and more. It's suitable for even the most sensitive of skin and contains 100% pure ingredients. It's fragrance free, colour free, vegetarian and baby friendly and completely cruelty free.

The Lanolips 8 Hour Challenge is a challenge to see just how well this product does what it says. Simply apply before bed, and see how silky soft your lips feel in the morning! Well, as someone who takes many daily steps to keeping her lips silky soft and smooth for perfect lipstick application, this is a challenge I just had to try!

I've only used this product on my lips. Personally, I don't like multi-purpose products and will usually just use them for one purpose. So I've solely been using this on my lips. It is so unbelivably thick, I was actually surprised by just how thick it is. And it can be a little hard to squeeze out of the tube. But my oh my, is it luxurious. The first time I tried this was over night for the 8 Hour Challenge. I put a small amount on my lips, despite it directing you to apply a generous amount, because you really don't need a lot with this product - A little really goes a long way! So I popped it on, settled in to bed and let the sleep sleeps fairies do their work. When I woke up in the morning, the first thing I did was check my lips. I couldn't believe it - There was still product on my lips! It had lasted all blooming night! Now, there's not many lip salves I know that can do that, and I've tried a lot. But were my lips soft, smooth and all silky feeling? Well yes actually, they were! I was happy to see that this product did exactly as it said it would, and the 8 hour challenge was a success!

The Lanolips 101 Ointment comes in a 15g tube and costs £11.22. Quite pricey for a lip salve, isn't it? But like with a lot of pricer products, I've found this is lasting a super long time and I reckon it'll be with me for a couple of months yet. Would I repurchase? Maybe. I actually want to try the Lanolips Lemonade Lip Aid next, which is a little bit cheaper at £9.18 for a 15g tube. You can find this product on the Lanolips website, along with all the other lip, hands and body products they produce, here.

Are you going to take the Lanolips 8 Hour Challenge? Go on, I dare you!
