It is quite possible that I am now a fully-fledged addict of the Lush fresh face masks. I absolutely adore them and I fall in love with every single one I try. I've reviewed three other fresh face masks from Lush; Brazened Honey, which is my all time favourite (read review here), Catastrophe Cosmetic (read review here) and Love Lettuce (read review here) The latest I have been using, is Cupcake, one recommended to me a lot by other bloggers!

The featured ingredient in this fresh face mask is rhassoul mud. Rhassoul mines are located alongside the Atlas Mountains in the Moulouya valley. Rhassoul works to absorb grease and give a deep, penetrating cleanse. As well as rhassoul there is vanilla absolute and spearmint oil, linseed infusion which nourishes and softens the skin, fresh mint for toning and cocoa buter for moustirising. It smells of divine chocolate and has an almost sponge like texture when applying. Suitable for all skin types, this is a perfect fresh face mask for all.

When I use this, it's difficult not to try and eat my face! The smell is absolutely gorgeous! It applies easily, dries all over and is easy to rinse off. It leaves my skin feeling soft and keeps the oil at bay between uses. It's definitely a mask I will be re-buying! You can find this lovely fresh face mask on the Lush website, here. You can also buy it online or in store and it costs £5.75 per 75g tub!

If you've tried Cupcake, I'd love to hear your thoughts! Did you like it? What is your favourite fresh face mask from Lush?

  1. I went to Lush a few days ago to find a face mask or product that could help with break outs, as hormones have been wreaking havoc on my face really. I guess it depends which Lush you shop at, but the shop assistant was really pushy :/ I didn't see this one though!

It's actually my favourite Lush mask- and I agree, it does smell good enough to eat! I've also tried Catastrophe Cosmetic which I loved and Cosmetic Warrior which I didn't like as much :/
